I placed a large order last night for a family birthday celebration and was very disappointed. The cheese pizzas were so full of... grease that he inside of the box was completely saturated as each piece was lifted. There was literally a complete black circleunderneath the pizza, no meat on the pizza yet still got a grease laden pizza, very disappointing. We ordered 5 pizzas plus adessert & paid almost $60 & ended up with almost 3 whole pizzas leftover because no one ate more than a couple of pieces each.It?s ridiculous to also have to pay 85 cents a piece for extra sauces when you are placing an order over $50 in pizza alone. Wedefinitely won?t be making this mistake again when it comes to a large pizza order we will drive a few extra miles & getDominos, Papa John?s has definitely went downhill since the pandemic hit!! I just want to say that the Baxter Papa John's staff is amazing. I ordered a Pizza from them and I didn't have enough money and... stated what I had, I confused myself because I thought the amount was going to be lower and thought it was from a previousorder. The chick that was taking my order said "okay let me get my manager." Noah came up to the register and reduced the priceof my order to where I could afford to pay for it, no questions asked. It really surprised me because they could've just saidsorry and left it at that but these people with no hesitation helped me when I needed help. Thank you guys soooooo much! Not sure what happened to this location. Use to be you could place the order and trust the ordering system when it told you how... long the wait would be. Now you should add minimum 15 minutes to what the app tells you. Also, if you walk in and your orderisn't ready, do not rely on the employees to let you know when it is. Tonight I walked in 20 minutes after placing my order onthe app (which said 16 minutes estimated) and was told my order was being made and it would be about 15 minutes. Ok. It'sfootball time in TN and I figured 20 minutes was optimistic this close to game time. Seems the app wait time should be updatedthough. There were two ladies waiting when I got there and they didn't get their order until around the same time I got minewhich was roughly 45 minutes after my order was placed. When the orders did come out, not one of the employees let us know theorders were up even though we checked in and the employees were well aware we were there. I expect if each of us hadn't askedif our order was ready, we would still be standing there. This is not an isolated incident, this has consistently been an issueeach time I've been in this location. There is a general sense of milling around of the employees with nothing getting done. And no one seems to care. At least two employees on the make table were not wearing gloves. As far as the pizza goes, it'stypically good and correct, we've never had a complaint in that regard. However, tonight one of our pizzas was wrong. I didn'thave another 45 minutes to wait and didn't complain. After numerous chances, we'll either visit the PJ in Cookeville or goelsewhere. Read more
Staff was very friendly and professional. We arrived earlier than our pizza and cheese sticks were expected to be done. We were... given a complimentary drink while we waited. They were extremely busy but remained friendly and professional anyway. Our orderwas ready before the time it was expected to be. The food was definitely fresh, hot and delicious!! Read more
Two stars for the crust and the fact that they got the extra sauce right. Pizza was hot and delivered on time but the cheese... leaves much to be desired. I?m done with papa johns. Give me the real cheese that stretches when you pull it out of the box andhas a bit of chew to it when you bite. The cheese on this pizza might as well have been spread on with a butter knife. So my review is much lower than normal for my favorite pizza place this time because the place I picked it up from was in a gas... station along my route down the highway. Since I couldn't get my favorite toppings it wasn't as good as usual. Read more
