Dog friendly patio. Waitress was nice but not attentive. Went for lunch not at a busy time never saw her after the food was... delivered except for the check. Never even offered a drink refill. We come here frequently. Was just in last night. The food is always good. The owner is there most times I've been in and always... greets you with a smile and will get you anything you need. He actually cares about his customers. Great atmosphere, cool patioout back with extra seating. I had chicken salad, BLT was amazing (per the wife) and dad had Perch. Said the fish was excellent! Nice pub in a cool part of town. Pub like atmosphere. I had a ruben and it was very good. The pub style chips were really good... cold but would have gained 5 stars had they been hot or at least warmed. Waitress was exceptional and a man whom I would guessto be the owner came and made sure everything was fine, added bonus! Food was delivered fast and hot. If in Bay City this wouldbe a place close to down town that is a great place to grab a bite to eat. Good job! Read more

This restaurant is family owned neighborhood bar where you feel at home right away. We visit ALL the time and it's always great.... We've never had poor or even mediocre service or food. Recently we had a huge party on the patio on a busy Friday night. We hadat 20-25 people and our waitress was the best I've ever seen on a big party. Kelsey never made a single mistake and her responsetime was practically instant for everything including food, drinks, extra sauces and stuff like that. We actually all gave her around of applause at the end of the party. Although in my experience at coonans that is par for course.... The waitstaff here isthe best in Bay City in my opinion. Love the atmosphere and food here! First off we were treated very well and promptly by the staff. The food here was delicious.... My husband ordered a Jalapeño Burger and I ordered the veggie Quesadilla. We also ordered the Deep fried Dill Pickles as anappetizer. Pleasantly surprised at this hidden gem. Great food, service and prices. I had the Salmon Ceasar Salad as a special on a... Saturday night and it was fantastic. My husband had the roast beef stacker and that was excellent as well. The owner came out totalk to us multiple times and that made it even more of an excellent experience.
