What a fabulous night with the family. Beautiful setting. Dinner was pricey but worth it. I had the swordfish. Also had a beet... and goat cheese salad, simple but amazing. Dessert was a cappuccino and cheesecake, also very good. Service was great. Wouldhave loved to sit outside but they couldn't accommodate at the time. We sat inside with doors open and it worked enough. Drinkswere good, I had a Margarita. It is a very beautiful place to go. Read more

On Saturday my family and I held a small bridal shower for my sister at Fatfish and we had such a lovely time! They were able... to accommodate our large party with long tables next to each other. We had a prix fix menu with a couple of options forappetizers, the main course, and dessert. I enjoyed the mussels with white wine sauce (so fresh and yummy), the green salad, and the swordfish as my main. The swordfish was absolutely perfect and the dish was light and satisfying. Our server was Julesand took expert care of us. She always insured we had a full drink, a clean table, and smiles all around! Thank you for hostingsuch a lovely afternoon! Read more

Excellent hidden gem! Little slow to seat us caused the one less star. We were told 20min but took 40. Seats empty everywhere... when we asked they said it was a Fire Dept rule? Seemed weird...then why have the tables? Oh well, the food was delish andmany cool items to choose from and for that reason we still recommend trying for yourself. Try the oysters Rockefeller, shrimpin trench coats apps, monk fish, and fluke entre's all great! Read more

Food: 5/5 Venue: 5/5 Service: 5/5 Overall: ?????????? We had a wonderful experience at Fat Fish. The staff and Chef Brian... deserve high praise. We came in for lunch and instantly appreciated the calm airy atmosphere at the venue. The ocean view isgorgeous! Our food came in perfect timing and was absolutely delicious, we ordered the shrimp and scallop fettuccine (amazing!),grilled chicken and various appetizers seen in the picture below. Our attentive server Jessica, went above and beyond to makesure our dining experience was superb and we could not have asked for a better server. My daughter who was visiting from Londonis still talking about how good the food was and it’s been a week. As a local, this restaurant is by far one of the best inLong Island. Please go check it out for yourself, you will not be disappointed. Read more

This place has one of the best seafood. All the ingredients in all the food we ordered complimented each other. I had the shrimp... and scallop fettuccine and OH MY GOD, I must say this was the best I had. And the view was just so amazing. Definitely comingback here next time I'm in New York. Read more

Well, many bartenders waiters and waitresses at other fine establishments have suggested this place once they have gotten to... knoe me. I won't mention there names here. Let me preference this review by acnologing that all of the food serviceestablishments are having a very difficult time now balancing quality and price in these times of unprecedented cost increases. From cost of product to cost to delivery. This owner/chef is doing a pretty good job of it. The lobster biscue. A little towatered down but still packed with flavor. Not sure how he's able to do it. I would suggest a quart less water, or bettersubstitute a quart of water with white wine and charge a dollar more per serving. The saffron mussels, I have difficulty tryingto improve on it, but will try. Again packed with flavor but obviously a little extra water to, as my mother used to say"stretch the soup". There is an expense connected to this meal. If you eat to live and prefer shoving white castle sliders downyour throut, do not come here. You will only be disappointed and post a bad review. If you live to eat, give it a try. The chefknows what he's doing. The atmosphere is great, even better as the summer progresses. Read more

This is a fun family friendly restaurant with a great view of the water. Plenty of parking and a wheelchair accessible... entrance. Moderately clean facilities. Public Restrooms. Large outdoor seating area. Nice staff especially our ServerSandra. Great for Seafood and Meat specialties. Get there early otherwise you'll have to wait for a long time. Noreservations unless you're party of 6 or more. Moderate to expensive dishes, but you can find something in your Price Range. Credit cards accepted. We will definitely be going back. Read more
