I loveeee this restaurant. They have amazing oysters and they’re 1/2 off during happy hour. The crime brûlée is the best... I’ve ever had! Service is wonderful— Gina was PHENOMENAL!!! The scallops are incredible. New England clam chowder is awesometoo. We drive 30min+ to come here because we love it so much. They also have outdoor seating! Highly recommend! Read more
Went here for happy hour with a large group. Lots of great happy hour specials on oysters and cocktails. Highly recommend! There... were several different oysters to choose from and they were all fresh and tasted excellent. The cocktails were also made prettygood too. The atmosphere inside is pretty nice to. Might be pretty expensive without a happy hour special. I would definitelycome back! Read more
Found this place online & could not wait to try it. It was beyond our expectations from the service, thank you Michael, to the... delicious food!! Must try the biscuits served with maple butter! Blow your socks off WOW! We had the chicken sandwich andlobster roll- both INCREDIBLE!! The lobster roll had such a savory taste and the bun was perfect. Cocktails are always good at Salt & Barrel, but pricey at $16. Overall the food was fine but nothing I would go out of my way to... eat again. In fact, I sent back one dish which was listed as a burrata salad. What I got was a small skinny slice of rye bread,cut in half with a slice of tomato and a small piece of mozzarella on each half. Definitely not a salad... And their menu hastwo prices for each item, cash price and credit card price. I find this annoying at best. Just charge me the CC price and callit a day. It'a part of your business cost! When you tell me you are charging me an extra 4% it starts the dining experience in avery negative way. I would prefer you gave me a discount at checkout if I choose to pay cash, which is so rare for most peopleto do these days. Food is great. Service is great. The wait staff is younger than your average staff but its cute to see them at work and they... work well! Very kind, attentive and personable staff. Back to the food...it's bomb! Anything on the menu is good; includingdrinks! Food wait time wasn't bad on a BUSY day like Mothers Day, either! Great place. You won't be disappointed. :) Read more
Food was very good but a bit pricey for the portions you received, even for a finer dining spot. I also had to knock off a star... for their credit card fee. I was very surprised see a place that costs an average of $30/dish charge more if you pay with acredit card over cash. Additionally we came during happy hour and were given happy hour pricing on the raw bar but not ourdrinks. Other than that staff was accommodating, food and drinks were great, and plating was beautiful. As a heads up there isnot a single vegan option at this restaurant either. Read more
