Excellent experience especially for Valentines Day. We thought the food was affordable and tasty. Sangria was great. Really... impressed by staff though. They put everything down to help us in the moment and provided wonderful attentive service. Would100% recommend. Updating my review because we went back and had excellent service yet again! This time we sat at the hibacitable and our chef Johnny really hooked it up! He made our anniversary so fun and the food tasted so great. Takumi is the bestspot for celebrations! Thank you guys!!! We had a a fantastic dinner at Takumi. We had the eggplant fries, wagu meatballs, spicy tuna ragoon and pork gyoza for... appetizers. Everything was delicious! For Entrees we had an array of Sashimi and rolls. Our overall experience was great! Theyreally brought the Fusion in Asian Fusion. Definitely recommend, and don't be afraid of some of the odd combination they reallydo work!! Read more
Such an awesome experience. This place has such a great atmosphere. Fun, fast paced, modern, clean. The service is quick and the... waitstaff that helped us were so nice and friendly. Awesome ambiance and better food. The hibachi section is a great time. The chefs do a fantastic job of keeping the guests... involved. I tried the Pandora Box which is a culinary adventure allowing the chef free range to make whatever masterpiece he'sin the mood for. It consists of 6 different small dishes with 6 different tastes. They have a large menu, and everything tastes good. I would honestly say that this restaurant is one of the best restaurants I... have ever been to. I eat sushi more often than i'd like to admit. Good sushi too. This place compares to above average manhattan sushi joints. Not... high-end, but above average. For the price you are paying, you are getting a good deal on most of the sushi, and chef omakase ortasting menu. On our recent trip, I ordered the $50 omakase, while my my brother and sister in law ordered the $75 chefspecial. How they differed, we were not sure. Later we found out that we were both to get a variety of dishes all of which wererather outstanding. Unfortunately, my $50 entree came with a rather boring close of 3 salmon, 3 tuna, and 3 scallop sashimi's.However my brother and sister in law received a true omakase tasting featuring approximately 10 sushi all of the betterhigher-end cuts, along with a special roll. I've learned my lesson and will not cheap out here and will order the $75 omakase.If you're not as hungry, they $50 will do, just know that you will be getting more sashimi than sushi, and the cuts will be yourbasic run of the mill. Fun place to go with family or friends. I would highly recommend this place for celebration. The food is delicious, the service... is good. The hibachi cook was fun and serve sake for the adults from the cooking counter. It’s fun to watch the person cookand serve you sake from the cooking counter to your seat. Side note: adults, be mindful else you would get drunk. The cooks aremindful and they don’t want the kids to be missing out on fun. They serve water for kids the same way they serve sake foradults. Kids love this place and if you have birthday, they offer some goodies too. Read more
