The base powder has too much white/black pepper in it and makes the chicken spicy.
Recently moved here and was excited to have Korean Fried chicken. That being said I've had experience with this chain and would... have said it's not my favorite. However, this location surprised me with the chicken being perfectly fried. Not too greasy/heavy as compared to the location in Edison. It's flavorful and even stays crispy after its cold. Finally! Korean bbQ Chicken in Bayonne. I?m accustomed to going into ktown whenever I?m craving crispy Korean Chicken. So happy... I don?t have to travel for it now. I ordered through Grubhub for delivery. Delivery was fast and the food arrived hot, fresh,and smelling AMAZING! I ordered half order of the original Golden Crispy Chicken, Kimchi Fried Rice with Cheese, and RoseDdeok-bokki with cheese. The order came with a free side of pickled radish which is a nice palette cleanser. The chicken wasfresh, juicy, crispy and flavorful. Exactly what I was expecting. The sides were really good as well. The only thing missing wassome Kloud Beer and Soju. I will be better prepared next time I order so that I can have the full experience. The portions arehuge. Friendly staff, clean, crispy, flavorful, and juicy Korean fried chicken! I'm glad a branch of bb.q chicken opened up in... Bayonne. The only place I've been having bb.q chicken is in Ktown in the city. This branch is just as good! The only differenceI think is it is a bit pricier, but I think that is understandable. It's not a grab-and-go like the one in ktown. Best to order ahead for pick up! Still, it's good food but pricey as usual.

So far the best Korean style fried chicken I had in this country. Sounds a little bit exaggerated but I mean it. Light crispy... batter, great flavor and good meat quality. The chicken here is even better than the same franchise in Manhattan Korean town. Read more
