I never tried Hook & Reel before but when I tried it for the first time, the food blew me away and the service is very friendly... and when they gave us the food, I loved the overall presentation and the pasta that I got was one of the best pastas I've everhad in my life and the garlic bread sticks were absolutely delicious and they were so Fluffy and tasty. I also love the overallatmosphere of the restaurant and I had some fun solving the puzzles on the table paper covers. I highly recommend going to Hook& Reel to give it a shot. This was the first time here and probably the last. Food was very, very too salty to the point it was almost inedible (and I... like salt). Some of our food was very overcooked and dry. Service was awful, there was hardly anyone in the restaurant. Look atthe pictures. One server was on his phone and the other was sitting in a chair looking out the window. First off I'm not the type to leave reviews, also I am allergic to shellfish and this establishment is seafood forward, But the... ambiance the staff and the attention to customer satisfaction took me by surprise. I was taken care of by Alyssa D, herknowledge and expertise regarding the menu and drink recommendations was astute, while accommodating my allergies. I was thengreeted by Sarah, Gary and Alvin, which made me feel so special. They take food allergies very serious with all thingsconsidered. I had a Cesar salad with chicken and a strawberry Hennessey, pairing felt like it was a perfect match. I literallyhave no complaints and needed to express the service I received. Wow! Had such an amazing experience here. We ordered 2lbs of head off shrimp, 1 pound of New Zealand mussels, and the king crab... legs. The food was so delicious!!! I don?t think I?ve ever had seafood this fresh. The service was amazing. Alyssa M took careof our every need. She made some amazing drink recommendations.
