OMG when I first saw they had fresh caught salmon meal I was interested, but pretty apprehensive... LET ME TELL YOU this was... GOOD! The entire meal, FISH, rice, broccoli, bread, and coleslaw was fresh, flavorful, and the hot items were HOT...Also thelarger young man at the window was polite friendly and helpful, the price was decent, and after I ate it It seemed cheap... The likelihood that I will ever go back is not very high. The prices are too high and the quality of the food wasn't that great.... I got an order of the funnel cake fries and there wasn't even that many in the box and they barely had any powdered sugar. Thefried shrimp and chicken were both really dry. A few of the fried shrimp actually made me throw up shortly after eating. I candefinitely see why I haven't seen very many of these in my life. Read more
Sitting here having lunch the food reminded me of Long John Silvers, a comforting memory from my childhood. As I read the... previous reviews I started looking around and I did notice the restaurant is in major need of a good cleaning and remodel. Thewindow ledges are filthy and the paint is peeling. I had to kill a small spider that was hovering over my head. I noticed themanager was trying to repair the sauce container while we were there and when she removed the bag of sauce it looked like ithadn?t been cleaned in some time, the ceiling has a lot of water damage or whatever. Overall, The service was good, food wasgood but they really need to invest time into taking care of the restaurant. Read more
I have never been to this captain d's but their food was really good. I got a 2 Pc catfish and they were juicy and the breading... was not soggy. It was soft and seasoned really well. It honestly shocked me that it taste that good because I was expecting itto be Mediocre. Yeah the place is losing some paint on the walls but it's just a very old building that needs some TLC. Thekitchen is very clean cause it needs to be and the prices are cheap for the meals. I would recommend this place to anyone whoisn't picky on the way a building looks. ???? Read more
I cannot say how excited I was to run a hometown favorite! The customer service was beyond outstanding. I appreciated the... cleanliness and freshness of our food. I surely will come back again.
