We were traveling from Louisiana and decided to stop off to get a bite at this Cheddars. I'm not a huge fan of Cheddars. It's... just not a place that impresses me that much, but everyone else wanted to go so... The atmosphere was great, the food was good(had the grilled fish and rice), and the service was mediocre, but the service is what really made the 3 start ratingexperience. The waitress kept messing up our orders and not just once but several times. Started with ordering a frozen and onewith ice margaritas; they both came frozen. I originally ordered fish & chips. I got a grilled fish with rice and fries, smhwait, what... Then we ordered a hamburger and fries to go, but noticed the waitress put in the order with rice instead of fries,i was asking myself why. I started to think she had a hearing problem and just didn't tell us or she was messing with us and wewere to nice to see it. Overall, we were satisfied with what we got even though it wasn't what we ordered. And she seemed like anice girl just couldn't break it to her that she sucked at her job. Needless to say, she didn't get a 20% tip, but she got acold of dollars. I couldn't just leave cause I know we are in some hard times. Read more
It was my first time here in probably 10 years.. && only my second time ever. Food was good. My complaint is because me and a... friend met there... we both needed high chairs && they sat us in a booth, fine... both high chairs fit so whatever.. she broughtus the bread && our drinks.. then our food.. she never picked up any dishes.. just left them on the table knowing we havechildren... we sat there catching up cause it had been forever && had to keep her 2 year old out of things && the waitress STILLnever removed anything from the table. The food is good. Their croissants & spinach dip are DELICIOUS. The servers provide decent service. There's something for... everyone, I feel. My favorites are the chicken pot pie, the salmon, or any of their pastas. My husband LOVES their Monte Cristo.I recommend this restaurant. :) Read more
I gave this a 5 star review only because the manager, Joey completely saved what was a very awkward beginning with a... server. Joey handled our table very professionally,apologetically and it was sincere. Thank you! We received a differentserver,Ashleigh and she took care of our party. I myself work in restaurant management and I know having a server take over atable that is not in her section or even approaching an upset table for that fact can be frustrating for sure,but she took verygood care of us. This is hands down the dirtiest Cheddars I?ve ever been to. The hostess walked us to our table in the bar area. She slipped as... she tried to seat us because the floor wasn?t clean. I slipped when i sat down as well. She moved us to a table behind that one.There was a child that all the waiters and waitresses were BABYSITTING in the bar area! The child was jumping up and down on theseat, eating apples and standing next to our table, and bothering the other customers. The floor was visibly dirty and the placeis practically falling apart. Our table was stinky like they used a dirty rag and the seats were sticky. Please see photos. Doyourself a favor and go to another restaurant. I don?t know what ?manager? was working but anyone that would allow that shouldbe fired. Read more
The food was very good, the service staff not so much. Never got all of out things we asked for. We had to get up and our to go... box. The waiters never back. Very unhappy with out visit. We keep coming back for the food not the Service. Hope one day theservice will get better...... Read more
