It was just ok. I really miss lubys as they have closed most. So drove to Baytown on business and stopped for late lunch. It was... hardly anyone dining... this was not good as the good want too old. Cheese steak edges were hard and center dry. Sent it backand got chopped steak and same thing. I think after lunch they don't pull food that had been setting on steam table too long.Also the sweet little lady serving food didn't understand English very well so communicating was tuff. She was the only one onthe line. However my hubby got liver cooked fresh as we asked for fresh because what was setting on the steam table was driedout. The liver was so good. Usually food is good and no issues with my order. Today not the case. I ordered 2 Luann's with cfs, green beans and mashed... potatoes with cream gravy and jalapeno cornbread. Well I didn't get gravy or cornbread and the chicken fried steak was so dryand hard like it had been sitting for a long time. Read more

This was my Thanksgiving dinner. Angus chopped steak not cooked. Threw the raw meat in trash after I spit out first bite. First... time to Luby?s and I won?t be returning.
