BEWARE IF YOU DINE INSIDE. Our visit was perfectly fine until an employee, whom we assumed was the manager from the white... button-up, by the name of Robert approached our table and began giving us diet advice. He also tried to give his success storyabout eating chicken sandwiches instead because of the ability to fill you for a longer period of time. It was incrediblyuncomfortable. There is absolutely NO reason any employee should be discussing that while their customers are trying to enjoytheir food. We didn't show any interest in this conversation and Robert continued to lecture us for roughly 8 minutes. It felt abit like a hostage situation, and we were just waiting to be rescued or have his attention diverted to other customers. Afterhe left our table and began yet another uncomfortable conversation with the table across from us, we got up and threw the restof our food away because neither of us had much of an appetite after that. The drive thru wait time is completely unacceptable. I have been sitting here for over 30 minutes now. I will NOT be returning... ti this place. There are multiple people standing out of there cars complaining. If I wasn't trapped in line I would have left along time ago. Service is horrible. Read more
I would avoid this whataburger I ordered two sausage, egg and cheese, taquitos and a biscuit and gravy and the biscuits and... gravy. They did not put them in a container so the gravy spilled everywhere. This location is a mess. You will not get your food fast. Don?t even bother ordering on the app. It?ll take them 30 mins... regardless. Sunday mornings are especially bad. Food quality is usually good if it?s not cold. Read more
I've never seen such a dirty whataburger ever. Tables almost every table is dirty, floor with fries all over the place. I ask... for dine in instead they gave me a take out bag. Fries cold as hell. All trash cans full. And apparently workers servethemselves before they pay...poor management Read more
Normally we stop in Baytown to eat Breakfast enroute to Louisianna. Because of construction at our turnoff, we drove to... another exit where there were restaurants. Whataburger on Hwy 146 was in the cluster of places where one could eat. It islocated in an attractive modern building. Interior was beautifully designed with a nice layout to order, pickup and dine. Theplace was clean. The one person at counter was efficient & seemed to be doing work of three. Since we were not familiar withtheir menu & didn't know what we wanted, she directed me to look at the menu board while she took care of other business. Iordered two coffees and Items #20 # #24.from menu board. Service was quick. Since we were there in the mid morning expectedcondiments and soap in men's bathroom to be stocked. I usually never complain about Whataburger but this time I was not happy. My French fries were disgusting, I would have asked... for a replacement but the store was busy. It took 15 minutes for me to get my food to dine in. I will not be going back to thislocation. Read more
This is less about this particular location than Whataburger in general, honestly. The staff at this location is generally... nice, the restaurant is usually clean. The location is as good as you're going to get for a fast food place. So for that, atleast 4.5 starts. Whataburger in general, however... Barely 1 start (for overall 3 stars). I have always loved Whataburger.There was a time that it was, hands down, the BEST burger place in Texas! Still, the best ketchup anywhere (all of their saucesare fantastic). But in the past few years (since they were bought by that company in Chicago), the quality and taste of the foodhas steadily gone down. I have to say, sadly, I'm just no longer a fan. :( Read more
