I don?t even live in NJ anymore but come back frequently to visit my family and i just love Perk so much. I think about it so... often lol their specialty lattes are always so good. Snickerdoodle is a must try as is the S?mores Latte. I?ve never had a badcoffee here. They always have amazing pastries and their breakfast sandwiches look great and are super customizable. Visited twice this week to get the scoop on their tea. I?m always on the hunt for a good iced green and prefer to shop small. If... Perk ever starts to carry an iced green I?ll definitely come back but the teas they do carry iced weren?t really what I waslooking for. I love that they carry lavender syrup. The same person was at the counter for both of my stops and they were soosweet and friendly, especially considering how early it was. I was only half awake and the atmosphere is gentle and quiet withsoft music I appreciated. Again, if iced green is ever offered I?ll be a regular!! Read more
Got an extra shot of espresso (3 shots) in my americano and it still was not strong. However there is reasonable pricing.
I first tried perk about a year ago, which was around the time of their initial opening. I was so excited to have a local... specialty coffee shop in the area as there was nothing of the sort for miles. I was, and am still, so blown away by everythingthere. Their cold brew is actually strong and flavorful unlike a lot of other cold brew being sold these days. I usually alwaysassume I will have to add a double shot of espresso for it to be palatable and not watered down, but not there. They have such avariety of fun flavors and they never overpower the drinks with too much sweetness. They ALSO have amazing, giant breakfastsandwiches made to order and offer egg whites and turkey bacon which is such a plus for people trying to be healthy. It?samazing to have a one stop shop for good coffee and good breakfast right down the street from my house. I?m the person that willstop separately for good coffee and good food but now I can stop just once :) oh and they also have amazing pastries for dayswhen I want a little breakfast dessert ! Found the best Latte in Toms River. EDIT: I stand corrected as I compared to Booskerdoo and now told they use their beans. No... wonder it's awesome. Pastries Apple Fritter is good C-Chip cookie has no flavor, but this may be a Low Sugar Cookie so I can'tsay it's bad. Read more
