Wait & host staff were great! Bar tender was rude, and not too well informed. I asked for a glass of tonic water, and was told... they didn?t have any alcohol there at the bar. I didn?t ask for alcohol, I asked for a glass of tonic! No alcohol? At the bar? Abit confusing. Food was average, mostly fried. I had the crab cakes, described as ?lightly breaded and fried?. They were in factheavily encrusted, and deep-fried. Although they were tasty, they didn?t agree with my stomach. A 5oz cup of wine was the sameprice as a margarita or a Mojito, $14, which I thought was a little over the top! Waited for one hour before we got a table after being told it was a 25 minute wait. When we were ready to leave, we could not get under the bridge, as we had to wait forthe drawbridge to open. The drawbridge website indicated the drawbridge opened upon request, but that is not true. We had towait half an hour, after being told the bridge only opens at the top of the hour. It would have been nice to know that beforehand, as we were traveling far to get home. Will not be returning. Read more

We visited on a Saturday night. They don't take reservations but we did call ahead to put our name in. The location is very... scenic, overlooking the Bayville Bridge and marina. Seating is all outdoors, which was great as it was a beautiful evening. Our2 apps (cold seafood salad) and crab cake (1 crab cake, kinda small) took almost an hour. Our server only came over to explainthat there was one guy in the kitchen after about 45 minutes. We could see other guests were getting annoyed too. Our entrees came after we had been there for over an hour and a half. Prices are ok for the area, food quality was ok too, but be preparedto wait. Read more

Excellent service and lively views The food was just ok. The issues we had were the onions in the lobster roll which were out... of place. The clam chowder was more tomato soup Read more

My review of the restaurant is positive. The food and atmosphere are worth the ride and wait. This was my first time at the Clam... Bar and I went on a Saturday evening. The food portions are quite generous and the menu has much to offer, even for children. The wait staff is young, mostly 18-21 yrs old and quite friendly. As some other reviewers have stated, the service is slow. However my wife and I were not in a rush so we enjoyed our wine and mojito by the water. I would recommend this establishmentand I think it's a perfect spot to bring friends to. Read more

Horrible Service, buggy on a Saturday evening. The ambiance is nice and I had such high hopes as we live around the corner and... would love to have a local seafood restaurant we could walk to. We waited 2 hours for our dinner while others who came after usgot served. No one checked on us or apologized, it was like we were invisible. Maybe if it was cheaper it would be easier toforgive but the place is expensive. We took the food to go since we were so cold and bug bitten. The food was good. I suggestsomeone oversee these kid servers. Also, if you?re coming in the evening wear bug spray and eat a snack before you come. I surewish they offered me something, anything, an apology, a free drink so I wouldn?t have to be writing this review right now? Read more

I have always loved going to the Bayville Marina. My husband and I have historically gone there frequently over the past few... summers. Wait staff is friendly, the food takes awhile, but I am generally ok with that because I love the atmosphere. We wentthere last Sunday. They have expanded and have a lot more tables. The strange thing was there were several open tables and wewere told it would be a 45 minute wait. They don't take reservations so it is unclear why they wouldn't seat us. We sat at thebar while waiting for our seat. Prices definitely increased. I expected the lobster prices to increase, but it was stillreasonable compared to other places. $14 for a small plastic cup of wine. I have to admit that kind of put me over the edge. I love having white wine with my lobster, but 2 small glasses cost almost as much as my lobster. I still love the place, butprobably will not frequent as much as we had in the past. Read more

Easy to see right off of Main Street servicing Bayville. Plenty of parking. Moderately clean facilities. Outdoor dining... only. Very nice staff and Manager, but the Kitchen is very slow. No reservations. Small portions. On the expensive side sobring your credit cards. As the sunset there were many mosquitoes ???? and I was bitten several times. Seafood is good. The corn was very good! Nice view. I'll most likely be going back. Hopefully I can raise my rating. Read more
