One of the best meals I?ve had in a very long time! We stumbled upon this place on a spontaneous last minute trip to LBI. We... walked in around 6pm and there were already only a couple tables left (it quickly filled up after we were there). We ordered adozen oysters and then based on the server?s recommendations we ordered the Whipped Ricotta and Crab Fried Rice? and were wow?dwith every bite! Everything was so flavorful and the portions were huge! We really felt like we got our monies worth. We alsoordered a couple cocktails and they were made well and delicious. The serving staff were incredibly busy and everyone seemed toshare all the jobs to make the service go smoothly. There was definitely a line (on a Thursday night in the off season) so Ican?t imagine how busy that place is during peak season. We will definitely be back! Read more

I had an amazing experience at Delaware Oyster House and I wish I had discovered it sooner!! We started with oysters - 2 of each... kind. We also had their unique clam chowder which has pork roll and Johnny long hots in it - it was delicious! We also orderedthe crab dip with wonton chips and it was so tasty! Discovered this phenomenal FIND a year ago and we went back again yesterday, and oh boy it certainly didn't disappoint! Some... changes to the menu but it is one of my favorite dining experiences on the island. The oysters are ridiculously good! Weabsolutely loved the tuna tartare and the crab fried rice. YUM! P.S. Everything here is to die for. The Oyster options are fantastic, the other dishes are equally amazing as well. We had the dry... aged burger, the whipped ricotta and the octopus, everything was delivered with immense flavor and looked very well prepared. We stopped in for the first time yesterday and the food and drinks were excellent. We had an order of the fish tacos, pira pira... shrimp and sindwinders all were exceptional. We also tried the mezcal prickly pear margarita?s which were also good definitelyhave a hint of smoke if you do not like that this drink may not be for you but I would recommend giving it a shot beforecrossing it off the list. BLOWN AWAY. This restaurant was absolutely amazing. It?s small, cozy, friendly, and the food is absolutely delicious. I highly... recommend the crab fried rice. By far the best fried rice I?ve ever had. I tried about 6-7 different things on the menu.Everything was exceptional. The staff was friendly and helpful. Local IPA beers where top notch. Always an amazing experience. As per usual, I had one dozen of each oyster. However this time around I tried the new Scallop... entrée. Which just happened to be one of the best scallop dishes I've ever had! I will be back this season. Cheers! Read more
