We got Connecticut lobsters roll and they were amazing - the bread, the butter. A brioche roll, exactly what you want, warm too... and lightly toasted. So good. And bonus, they came with 3 sides each. For this price I wasn?t expecting something so amazing!!So good!! Read more
Luscious lobster rolls at the Great American Lobster Co in lovely Long Beach Island. My daughter and I are Maine Lobster roll... aficionados and this place didn't disappoint. Not many places offer hot lobster rolls and they serve them with large chunks. Thelobster here was perfectly diced and flavored and so fresh. They have variations on the hot lobster roll but I'm a purist atheart. This place is in my top if not top spot for lobster rolls. Enjoy! Read more
Every year we rent a big house with a lot of people and I was looking for some new and easy dinner ideas. I reached out to the... great American lobster roll, they took my idea of a big family style lobster roll dinner and ran with it. Dave and Kathi wereboth wonderful to work with and pulled this together with a days notice. We ordered the Maine lobster rolls, clam strips, and ofcourse plenty of the tater tots, corn and coleslaw. The food was all fresh and delicious and the customer service was excellent,which speaks volumes about this place. This will now be a staple dinner one night in our big house. First off it must be made clear that quality and taste are above expectations. We ordered a Connecticut roll and 2 Maine... rolls. The accompaniments ( tots, Cole slaw[creamy, not vinegary] and street corn[a little bit spicy]) complimented thesweetness of the very fresh lobster, overflowing from a buttery, toasted split "New England " roll. Service was prompt and weeagerly consumed our bountiful "box" as a late lunch/early dinner at street-side table. Totally worth the cost and willDEFINITELY come again. My only constructive criticism would be to provide more al fresco dining on-site so the huge line ofaficionados would not interfere with those stay to enjoy the amazing food. Read more
First off - as soon as you walk into Great American Lobster Roll it smells AMAZING - my mouth was watering while I waited for my... order. The food was absolutely delicious - had the Connecticut and Hawaii rolls with lobster tots. The service was also great -very friendly workers behind the counter! Already can't wait to stop again in September and try a few more rolls off their menu- so many to choose from! Read more
Really great experience from the start. The owner was fantastic - he was so amazing with our 3-year old son and offered him some... lobster meat to try in addition to the mac & cheese he ordered (which was delicious). The food was really tasty and someinteresting options for the rolls. The rolls had a generous amount of lobster for the price. Overall we were super happy withour lunch. Read more
