The WORST dining experience I?ve ever had. When the waitress serving you says ?I hate this place more than you do?, you know it... has to be bad. It took them 20min after seating us to take our drink orders. One of the drinks was under filled and had a hairin it. The food was god awful and overpriced. The calamari was over cooked, old and chewy. I asked for my burger medium and itcame out well done. They remade it, and it came out well done again! When I asked to talk to management, I was told there was NOMANAGER. Nobody seems to be in charge of this place. Finally, the ?head cook? came out to talk to us and he was extremely rudeand confrontational. I told him his food was over cooked and he got defensive and told me that he ?disagreed with me?. That isnot the way to deal with a customer. After a little back and forth, he reluctantly took the burgers off the bill. Everythingabout this restaurant is terrible. There are so many other places on LBI, with better food, prices, service, and atmosphere. Read more

Terrace Tavern has always been the yearly 'must stop' while vacationing. Unfortunately it seems to have gone downhill and raised... the prices as well. $180 for 4 non drinkers , 2 apps, eating mostly fried food seems steep. The meat for the burger was hard tospot as well. Service was good. Read more

Absolutely loved this place. It was our first time here and I took my son who is 13 years old. I ordered the steam pot not... realizing just how much seafood it would come with. But it was a good thing that I did. He ordered bacon wrapped scallops butdid not realize that they had what appeared to be caviar on top. But my son is always up for an adventure and to try new things.Unfortunately whatever it was was a fail. The "caviar" had an apple cider taste and it was very overpowering for him, even whenI tried it I had to agree that it was a bit much. But the steampunk was so good and we were able to share that. And the scallopswere cooked perfectly just unfortunately the taste of the flavoring they used was a bit much. Regardless I would still go backwithout question. Read more

From the time I walked in the door it felt like home, smiles and conversation everywhere. The menu accommodated every one in our... party and everything was delicious. Fun drinks after paired with Irish whiskey. Can I get more stars??? Read more

Very dissapointing. This restaurant has gone downhill. I even asked if it was under new ownership because I couldn't believe the... changes. They removed the combination platter from the menu.. and even fried shrimp. The muscles were not in the same whitesauce and we got burnt dried bread instead of the yummy garlic bread. They didn't even have sprite soda (ran out?). This wasour go to seafood place but when you cut corners and quality goes down and prices go up its noticeable. With so many places onthe island to eat, we won't be back. Read more

Overall a good experience. We were outside for dinner. Completely shaded and felt cool especially with the heat we were having.... Waitress was very attentive to our needs. Very happy they had the Downeast cider, one of my favorites. Food was good but we feltit was overpriced. Over 300 for party of 8 with two kids ordering kid meals and one two people splitting a meal. We always go to Terrace Tavern on our first night at LBI. I typically get the broiled seafood but was bummed to see it off the... menu due to food costs. The baked tile fish was a nice replacement though. Broccolini was great too. Service was quick andthe food hot. Big portions for kids and Crab legs were great. Read more

Cozy restaurant in the LBI area. Outdoor seating is very spacious. Terrace Tavern served me the BEST king crab I have ate to... date. It was very tender and sweet. My wife and I enjoy the King Pot, crab cakes, and shrimp tempura. Very delicious. Ifdinning here you should come early and anticipate a wait. In particular for outdoor seating. My wife and I have arrived at6:35pm and waited about 50 minutes to be sat down. On a Tuesday. Restaurant doesn?t not do reservations. Read more
