Unfortunately I cannot recommend this restaurant as a healthy establishment. On numerous occasions I've entered the place in... full view of flies hovering over the food containers at this location. In fact I have detected produce that was clearly oxidatedand beyond an expiration date which should not have been served to the public considering this is a supposed health foodfacility. Not only have I located produce that was visually unappealing but also produce that should not have been served due toit being wilted or contaminated. I purchased a salad bowl last Friday and drove it home only to be shocked to find a fly insideof the bowl a live fly flying around in the container. The music is always overbearingly loud at all of the blend facilitieswhich would never influence me to have a meal on the premises I have also witnessed an increase in the price but a reduction inthe size and dimensions of the salad bowls and a reduction in the portion sizes. At the New Windsor location my wife clearlywitnessed workers wearing their gloves while in the parking lot who proceeded to walk back inside without taking off theirgloves and return to work when approached and asked why they failed to remove their gloves my wife was told that the manager waswell aware of this practice the employee gave the excuse that during peak periods their manager would allow them to continuewearing their gloves I also witnessed at the Monroe location the same thing a worker keeping the gloves on answering thetelephone and opening and closing the doors of the kitchen without removing their gloves and the most ugly looking carrots inthe storage case possible. Their prices are very overpriced and not worth the cost because none of the produce is organic andthe standards are very low. While the smoothie itself was great, I just had a very bad service experience with the young woman behind the counter. She... exuded an energy that was tough, angry, dismissive, and overly curt?clearly not interested in being there nor in customerservice whatsoever. Employees like this should really be prevented from interacting with the public. Alternatively, Blendowners should be training their employees with the very basics of customer service so that the patron is not made to feel thatthey are an intrusion.
