We had to ask waitress to bring the bread after 30 mins waiting, and she didn’t provide dressing. The pasta was undercooked.... Noodles were so hard to eat. Read more

I must say as a picky eater I tend to shy away from anything too out of the norm and bold. However I decided to live a little... while dining here! The waiter Sammy was incredibly knowledgeable about the menu and specials and did an excellent job atexplaining the menu and making suggestions. I enjoyed some of the most delicious mussels there for my starter. The seafood wasso clean and fresh tasting. The texture was superb and there wasn’t any of that sandy gritty texture you usually get. Withmussels. The broth it was swimming in was a curry based broth but it didn’t have a musty or spicy taste. It was extremelyflavorful and I couldn’t get enough of it! Sammy came around with more bread because he could tell that I was loving thebroth. The bread was wonderfully grilled, not burnt but had a lovely char on it that complimented what I was eating. I triedoctopus for the first time and was pleasantly surprised by the lovely texture and flavorful taste! For my main course I got thefree range baby chicken Fra Diavolo and broccoli rabe! Each bite was incredible and packed with flavor. Usually broccoli rabefor me taste too green lol. As I said I’m picky, however the texture and flavor were perfect. The chicken was so moist and thesauce was amazing. Not too spicy at all. The hostess Pamela was attentive and often checked on us and made the most perfectdrink suggestions. The bar tender was accommodating and mixed up some of the divine French 75’s! The whole experience wasworld class! I felt like I was dining in a fancy NYC restaurant! I would definitely come back here again! Read more

It was a very lovely experience! We left a place we had reservations before and came here on a whim and were so glad we did. It... is clear that everyone working there cares about providing good service. The quantity and variety of specials was impressive. Itall felt very wholesome and friendly. The food was also very well done. And again, was very evident that they cared about theingredients and presentation. Thank you! Read more

Enjoyed food & ambiance, warmly decorated with vintage posters & dim lighting made for cozy dining. Food was excellent, although... a bit pricey, but worth it. Service was superior. Reason for the 4 stars, their inability to provide separate checks for myparty of 12. Read more

Check the menu before you go Best pork chop I’ve ever had!!! The server said chef recommended it medium, it was closer go MR.... I hate sending book back but for the price I was paying I did (plus I was starving)! When it came back it was perfect!!Absolutely delicious, the accoutrements that came with it I can’t speak for because I didn’t even try them. My BF ordered aspecial, which was pasta with crab meat. He devoured it, so I’d say it was good too! I regret not having taken any otherpictures but I was so excited to see Stella Cidrè outside of Europe! Check the menu before you go it’s a very differentplace, not a run of the mill restaurant. I didn’t think we’d have an issue, but if it wasn’t for the special there wouldhave been nothing my BF Would eat just because the style of cooking and what they prepare and pair main dishes with. Prefectplace for drinks but again way overpriced! $12 for my one beer. The wine list as others have mentioned is extensive withsomething for everyone but again small pour!! It’s very small and quaint so if you don’t want to be closer to other peoplethis isn’t the place for you, as we could hear just about every conversation. On that note make a reservation!!! Read more

Beacon is the best and cutest little town! So much to do and so many places to eat so we had a hard time deciding. We picked... Cafe Amarcord and were not disappointed. The inside was beautiful and fancy but we chose outdoor dining off to the side. Ourwaiter (I think Ken) was pleasant and felt natural, like he knew his stuff and wasn't trying too hard. Our cocktails looked andtasted artisan. I think about $13 each so certainly on the pricey side but my husband and I don't get time out for ourselves toofrequently so it was worth the splurge. We got some warm toasty break with this dipping sauce. The bread pretty much serviced asa vessel to get a giant heaping mouthful of the sauce. I asked what was in it and promptly forgot but it was tomato based. Trustme, yummy!! I had the meyer lemon rabbit. I love lemo but have yet to try rabbit. It tasted like chicken and was over polentaand some braised veggies. I honestly would've liked even more lemon taste or maybe some capers but I would order it again. Myhusband had the duck ragu and was very happy. This isn't a place I would go to all the time. It is fancy and pricey but I wouldcertainly go back for an anniversary or special occasion. Read more
