Great food and service. Historic diner with tons of personality and delicious diner fare. The Tuna melt was amazing.
The interior is way too glitzy and homogenized to be called an old-school diner. I really enjoyed the Bison Burger and it was... big enough to have leftovers the next evening. The potato salad was the blandest and most uninspired I have ever eaten. Therewas a huge group of raucous diners that kind of ruined the atmosphere and the A/C was cranked up so high, we nearly froze. Itseems like everyone who visits Beacon goes here - glad I did, too, but I don't need to the next time I visit. Read more

I went out with my friends for dinner and they brought me here. By far the best diner I've ever ate at! It's very clean in there... and the service is good. But the food is amazing! The bbq burger with bacon, the appetizers was out of this world delicious! The place is beautiful inside and out, and the staff... caring and attentive. When I travel back to Fishkill, I will definitely will have to stop on by and enjoy some more deliciousfood. Read more
CAUTION: DELICIOUS breakfast any time of day! Oh man, I was so happy we found this cool diner before our hike in Hudson... Highland State Park. The brunch we had was delicious, fulfilling and very generous. We had three separate orders: Nutella BanansFrench toast (aka heaven on earth), buttermilk pancakes with eggs and bacon, and an order of western omelettet accompanied byrye toasted and homefries Everything was made with love, almost to perfection! This place is really clean, has friendly waiters,and a cool 1950s diner vibe going. We will most certainly come again even if its just to eat! I wish more places had this homelike style diner.
