What a cool place I spotted on my drive. I will definitely go again. Fresh foods, the chocolate zucchini bread was amazing and... the variety of homemade goods so wonderful! Very friendly for pet\'s and kid\'s. Absolutely love the goat\'s. Have the hubby watch the kid\'s play while you shop inside. So... much fresh meat, dairy, produce, homemade dessert. Read more
They have a decent variety of items from organic to candy to home decor. Today was very active, with pick your own strawberries,... BBQ and a couple of other vendors. They also have a frozen custard stand as well as a small petting zoo as well as other thingsto help kids work out pent up energy from road trips. The place is very clean and the staff is always energetic and nice! Ilove the staff\'s energy and customer service and definitely recommend stopping by!! Read more
Did a quick stop here. My first time, even tho I passed by this place so many times and finally got a chance to stop by. I love... the store, enjoyed the gospel music that was playing. Messicks is a regular stop. They have local meat, produce, seasonal pick-your-own, dairy items, spices, and my favorite Rhodes... Pharmacy Vanilla. They also have a deli counter where you can order a sandwich, burger, snacks, and drinks. They make they owncustard in a variety of flavors. For the kids they have a excited play area with bouncing bags, slides, tire mountain, plus asmall petting zoo (goats, pigs, etc.) This is certainly a fun stop if you want to get out of the house for a bit with the kidsor just want some local fresh oysters when there in season. Love Messick?s Farm Market! They have so many things to choose from. Fresh vegetables, fruit, meat, Beautiful wall hangings,... linens etc! Also, the food they prepare is terrific! The sandwiches are fresh & full of whatever you order. They?re notskimpy at all! The mozzarella sticks are the best I?ve ever had from any restaurant! After eating one of their fresh meals,sandwiches or salads you can get delicious homemade ice cream, sundaes or milkshakes! Read more
This is a great place to stop in for a nice lunch. Great activities for the kids outside or strawberry picking when they are in... season. I love the different food that you can buy in their country store. There is also a nice little custard stand to get agreat dessert at. Plenty of parking and covered and uncovered picnic tables. Had a great time here with the kids. Plenty of great fall activities to do with the kids. Great pumpkin selection. The store was... cute with lots of fun things to buy. Frozen Custard was excellent and customer service was very friendly. We will definitely beback next year. Read more
