The service was great. Our server was warm and friendly. The food was wonderful - gnocchi for mains, and assorted desserts. ... If I had one (teeny) suggestion, the sticky toffee pudding came with ice cream, which took it over a bit. I love sticky toffeepudding with whipped cream. Maybe offer a choice of toppings? Read more
We had an absolutely amazing brunch experience at August Restaurant on August 28th. Our server was so great with us and our... baby.. it was the best service we have had at a restaurant in a long time! We ordered the Lobster Tots to start (as recommendedby our server) which were SO worth it! Highly recommend them! My husband had the Reuben and I had the Breakfast Gratin! Such a hidden gem! Our server, Darren, was amazing and when you have great service paired with amazing food, it?s a win in my... books. We had the duck phyllo pastry as a starter, the sour cherry jam was such a good compliment to the dish! Very uniquecombination. The pesto gnocchi is to die for! Everything is made fresh in house, so it really tastes like a summer dish. If youhave a sweet tooth like me, definitely get the sticky toffee pudding for dessert. It will not disappoint. Read more
Never a bad meal!! Third time here (from out of town) and each meal was on point, just fabulous! Excellent food and the staff... are just awesome. We came twice without reservations (I would recommend reservations!) and the staff was able to accommodate, wewere so thankful. Had lobster tots, fresh cream/cheese apps, burgers, chicken, anything on the breakfast menu! Just excellentfood and all fresh! (We did dinner and breakfast) Thanks again what a great little place! There are lots of delectable menu items to choose from. These options are perfect for indoor or patio dining. Service is paced... for a relaxed and enjoyable experience. Nice little spot to hit up for bunch :) the food was top notch and Darren our server was great! We had the brunch gnocchi and... the mushroom spinach hash.
