Really disappointed with our visit. This is my second time here and my first time, the staff was rather unfriendly. Decided to... give it a second try. The property is beautiful and the wine is good, but the service was terrible. We ordered a glass of wine, and once received, noticed there was a white substance on the glass. We confirmed it was on the inside of the glass and kind ofa gooey substance about the size of nickel. We asked for a new glass of wine and they said it was just the material from theprinting on the glass (they were the special take home glasses with the winery name on them). Regardless, it?s still a foreignsubstance in our glass of wine so it didn?t seem unreasonable to get a replacement. The ladies were clearly very annoyed, notapologetic at all and just really unfriendly about it. They did give us a replacement but we?re not happy, and then never cameback to our table or spoke to us. Read more

Small vineyard of the bitten path. As a lovely interior with an interesting and very palatable selection of different kind of... wines. They don't necessarily specialize in ice wine like every other vineyards but they do have a lot of wine to contenderwith. It's a good stop for your wine tour Read more

After a weekend of fabulous tastings in Niagara, this tasting was disappointing in comparison. The lowest cost option for a... tasting was $25 for four small samples. We each bought one tasting -$50 plus tax. The amount of wine served in total was lessthan one normal wine serving, though it did include a late harvest wine (not an ice wine). The Riesling was good, notspectacular, comparatively, and the rest were ?ok?. We bought a bottle of the Riesling post tasting and there was no discountthat came with the tasting, whereas everywhere else we went either waived the tasting fee or provided a discount. It was just awee bit too pricey for what it was. Read more

I had been looking forward to visiting this winery for some time and was so very disappointed. We were not greeted when we... arrived and when a staff member finally asked if they could assist us they checked their watch, it felt like we were intrudingin their day. We selected 4 from the premium wine selection and was asked to pay for it before they would serve. We waitedoutside on the patio, when the samples arrived she put them on our table gave the names and left. No description of theproduct we would be tasting or enthusiastic approach to our visit to try their wine. We finished the tasting and noticed alarge group arriving so went back into the store to purchase the wine we enjoyed. Again we had to wait and flag down a staffmember to complete our purchase. We did consider just leaving however having already paid $35.00 for 4 small tastings we didn?twant to leave without getting a few bottles. They did not ask us how we enjoyed the product tasted, they did not make anyrecommendations, nor did they offer a discount on the bottles we purchased since we had purchased the tasting. Went down thestreet to a different winery, met a very enthusiast team who were excited to share their product, made recommendations and wavethe tasting fee after we purchased 5 bottles of wine. Will not go back to 30 bench winery, did not get a positive experiencefor the price tasting being charged. Read more

So very impressed with the service I received here. Indoor tastings only. Incredibly friendly staff. Since I was traveling... alone and driving, I didn?t drink much of my tasting, which were all delicious. When I went to pay, someone came up to theregisters and said only charge me half since I barely touched them. I thanked them but said that was unnecessary and I washappy to pay, but they insisted. Very nice. Read more

This was our first of many stops and although it started nicely - I had made 2 reservations as our group was larger but they... couldn?t find the 2nd reservation. They still accommodated us which was nice. And only a few wines were available for tasting,we did still enjoy them. Where the experience left me with a sour note was the aftermath. I wanted to become a wineclub memberand one of the perks are complimentary tastings. I had already paid but was told that I could get refunded if I join. The storemanager also implied that I needed to remain an active member for a year if I wanted to get reimbursed which was not a problem.I have a big 2 wine cellar fridge at home. After signing up for the membership, I was then told that I could no longer getrefunded and that it would be for the next tasting. Apparently it?s in their ?rules? which the store manager went to reviewafterwards ???? After visiting a few other wineries in the area, I found that it was not common practice. Because if you thinkabout it, what is the difference between signing up just 5mins before payment? The tasting would suddenly become free as it?sthe ?next? tasting? Wasn?t necessarily the best way to make their their guest feel valued after signing up for an expensivemembership. I honestly just think that the manager made up something on the fly because she had trust issues orsomething. Overall, good wine but limited tasting options and not the best experience when it comes to making their guests feelvalued. Read more

Thirty Bench always puts on a good show. Or guide was Margaret, she was very knowledgeable about the wine and winery itself, and... took a good care of the group of twenty. We did the ?snowshoe? event in the vineyard, not a lot of snow but who cares. We tooktime to explore several different lots with varieties of Riesling, Chardonnay, and then winemakers Red which was a blend , withCab Frank a dominant variety. The tasting quantities are generous. The event ended with a hot soup served by Ravelle, and servedat the back outdoor tables. Nice setting, facing west and basking in the January and felt like staying there for hours. Fullglass of favourite wine and late harvest Vidal for the end, all included in the $65 price. One of our fav events every year.Great folks. Read more

Beautiful Wine estate. Basically picturesque. We were booked for wine tasting on this winery, we were greeted by friendly... staff and was asked to sign in. Sign in process was easy as its a scan QR code process. The choosing of wine was made betweenyou and the staff giving you the option to pick 3 types of wine to taste. If you are expecting a sommelier to be guiding youthroughout the tasting process, this is not the place. However, the staff is well versed with all the products and is willing tohelp you or give tips on how to enjoy the wine. P.s. You are definitely allowed to bring some food to enjoy with your drinks.
