We had our wedding at Vieni in June. There were many pros to this venue. We had an absolutely beautiful day. The space is... gorgeous (both inside and out), the atmosphere is amazing, the food was very good! We had an incredible party with lots ofdancing. The b&b was so convenient for getting ready in and spending the night. For us, the day was great. And many of ourguests commented that they had a wonderful time. We wish this was where our review could end. But there are some serious consto consider that we want to make other couples aware of in this honest review of our experience with Vieni staff. The lead upto and even parts of our wedding day were not as seamless as they should have been. The months and days before the wedding weremade extremely stressful by the staff. To start, there was a ton of confusion about who is in charge. They all use a generalinbox for emails and it was difficult to know who we were communicating with at any given time. We dealt with Kwesi and Madison.Both were pleasant and good-natured. But it was clear to us that we were just a number to them. We get it, they see a ton ofweddings, but they continuously forgot details of our wedding that had already been discussed in the months leading up. Thisled to a lack of confidence that things would go smoothly. Communication is a huge fault that this team needs to work on. Theyfailed to return urgent emails/phone calls in the few days before our wedding. We were ghosted for two days, and when they didget in touch, they were fairly unapologetic about the stressed they'd caused us. We arrived the day before our wedding to setup and expected to see the coordinator, Madison, who we'd been dealing with. But we were met with confused looks by staff whodidn?t even seem to know who we were talking about. We recently celebrated our daughters wedding at Vieni. The whole experience was top notch from start to finish. The staff went... out of their way to ensure we were happy and well taken care of. The food, wine and bar selection exceeded our expectations andthe staff were accommodating with the dietary restrictions of our guests. In particular, thank you to Madison, Mackenzie,Sebastian and all the service staff for your exceptional service. We could not have dreamed of a more beautiful venue for thebride and groom. Vieni is a stunning location for a wedding!! The ceremony site, the barn, and the B&B all make it worth it! Our entire family... appreciated the B&B since being on site made things a lot easier. This was definitely a huge benefit of Vieni! The food wasamazing and so was the service. We worked with Vieni?s partner vendors: Liquid Entertainment and The Wedding Company of Niagara.They were both great and this made our planning a lot easier! Upon our request, Vieni organized a wine tasting during thecocktail hour that was a big hit amongst our guests!! We had some challenges. For example, they gave us the wrong wedding dateand then called later to fix it. We found some calculation errors on the contract, that they fixed. The biggest issue was wehad agreed in emails on a brunch at the B&B for all our guests the next day, but they double booked the B&B for another coupleand when trying to resolve the issue, we had to hound them for a response. Luckily they made up for all their mistakes in otherways, giving us a great experience in the end! Kwesi is professional, accommodating, and helpful to work with! He made sure wefelt comfortable and taken care of throughout the process. Madison and Mackenzie were amazing on the day of the wedding andensured things ran smoothly. I recommend using their generic team email address to get quicker responses. Definitely save anybrochures or quoted prices. Most of all, get EVERYTHING in writing and try adding it to your contract to avoid having anyissues. Definitely recommend getting married here! Read more
We recently got married at "The Legacy Hall" attached to Vieni building. Since it's a "newer" venue we honestly weren't sure... what to expect... but we were absolutely BLOWN AWAY by the entire day. Had the rustic vibe we were looking for with a moderntwist (back wall of floor to ceiling windows, concrete floor and beautiful chandeliers). Our dealings were mostly with Ericaand Kwesi - both very easy and pleasant to deal with. Erica was truly a pleasure, so we were sad to have her leave prior to ourwedding this year. FOOD (kitchen is brand new at the barn and catered in-house by 43 North Restaurant Group/Johnny Roccos)- for some insight, my husband has a culinary background, and has cooked for many upscale restaurants including O&B properties inToronto. FOOD WAS INCREDIBLE. For "wedding food", we weren't expecting the food to be as good as the tasting, but it was justas good, if not, even better. Guests RAVED about the cocktail hour hors d'oeuvres - especially the Forty Creek glazed BeefSatays. The braised beef short rib main was absolutely to die for and the bones were larger than the plates - meat literallyfalling off the bone. We have never seen such incredible portion sizes for wedding food. Guests could not stop talking abouthow much they enjoyed their meals. To be noted that Vegetarian dishes also got raving reviews and any dietary restrictions werenot overseen - all guests got exactly what they asked for! The "after glow" had wood fired pizza, assorted desserts and fruitplatter - all enough to feed guests. SERVICE - servers were incredible. Fast, pleasant and truly on top of their tablemaintenance. They did not skip a single beat. We had just over 100 guests and from what we know, there was only one smallissue with a main - was addressed immediately and guest very happy. Very professional and attentive serving staff. This goesfor bar staff also. We were beyond impressed with their expertise, quick service and pleasant attitude. Read more
Decent wines and a nice peaceful setting. Their ripasso is really interesting and has a lot of flavour, it stands up to smoky... BBQ and bold curries. It?s a labour intensive process for making this style of wine so the price seems pretty reasonable. Read more
Vieni was the most perfect and beautiful setting for our special day. We couldn?t imagine getting married anywhere else. The... staff was professional and on the ball at every turn. They did everything they could to make sure we had the most perfectexperience. Everyone we talked to said it was a beautiful venue. The ceremony location was gorgeous and provided the perfectback drop for our nuptials. The reception space was stunning, we didn?t even have to dress it up with extra decor. Thank you toeveryone at Vieni, we would highly recommend this winery to anyone considering where to get married. Read more
