I an my son went out to a special dinner for my birthday ????. We made reservations, was seated, nice atmosphere, very nice... waitress but a bit pushy when I order a bottle of wine, my son is not a drinker and was uncomfortable when the waitress kepttrying to push a glass of wine to him. We shrugged it off. We ordered dinner. He had chicken Alfredo, it was very gritty, toomuch Is parmesan cheese. Chicken was dry as well. My dinner was scallops in a pink sauce. Very fishy and scallops were tiny. Iwas not expecting that the meal was going to be not so tasty but for the price of the meal, I was expecting it to be better.Bread was given before the meal, no butter but there was a bottle of oil to dip the bread in. Dessert was okay. In conclusion, not very tasty in my opinion, not worth the price. Read more

My boyfriend and I were in town from Kansas City tonight and this place caught our eye online, the menu looked amazing. We... arrived without a reservation (pro tip, make a reservation!), and the owner said it would be about an hour and 15 minute wait.We hesitated, and she quickly said she could serve us dinner at the bar. Man, am I glad she did. The food was outstanding, weshared an amazing ceasar salad, the homemade dressing was incredible. For dinner, I had the Tuscan Marinated Shrimp and myboyfriend had the Roast Half Duckling. Holy cow, so good!! The atmosphere is incredible, and the old charm of the building madefor a perfect evening. My only regret was not catching the owner's names, had a delightful conversation with her as we ate, andher husband the chef was pumped that Kansas City people loved his food! Highly recommend this gem if you're ever in Beatrice!! Read more

Good food but you can't charge people differently than the menu says... if price of food changes cross it out and write new... price, use tape cover old price, dont try pulling the fast one on people. I know menus are expensive to print but I have neverwalked out of a place for crossing things out and putting new price on the menu. Read more

Make a reservation! The restaurant was busy, and even with our reservation we had a short wait. The service was slow as a... result of the staff to customer ratio. We ran out of drinks and waited longer than we would have liked for refills, but weunderstand the wait staff was rushing and doing the best they could to provide adequate service to all of their patrons. Ourfood was freshly prepared and delicious. The creme brulee was delicious, and a great way to complete our dining experience. Read more

Went to The Black Crow for our anniversary. Only one waitress to manage 12+ tables so there was a wait to order. I had read... great reviews about their bread but the bread we received were small, round balls, tough. No butter. My husband enjoyed hismussels appetizer. Our entrees were good. The star of the dinner was dessert. The butterscotch mousse with cherries wasdelicious! Very reasonably priced for the quality of the food. Would give 4.5 rating. Read more

An unexpected delight in downtown Beatrice. This was a really great dining experience. 5 star dining in a small town in... Nebraska. The Black Crow has an extensive cocktail, beer, and wine list. After hearing about the specials, we barely looked atthe rest of the menu (but it was robust if the specials don't intrigue you). The food was excellent all the way around. Theserver was excellent. We'll versed in the menu and did a great job. This place is worth going out of your way for. Read more

If you're in Beatrice and looking for big city quality food, this is the place to go. The menu is quite extensive. Everything... from Caesar salad to steak to seafood to pizza. They serve beer and wine and have a full bar, as well. The building hasincredible character including a beautiful tin ceiling. The outdoor space is welcoming and cozy. If that's not enough to enticeyou, all of the members of the staff, including the owners, are fabulous! Check it out. I assure you, you will not bedisappointed! Read more
