If I could give this meal zero stars I would. I am passing through this city and arrived late in town, I ordered a meal from OJs... as it?s typically a very great meal. I order 4 appetizers: bruschetta, Brussel sprouts, dragon lettuce boats, and chicken goyza.My food was placed in a tamper proof bag, nor was it in a thermal bag when it was delivered to me. It was ice cold. The Brusselsprouts were burnt so badly I couldn?t eat them. The bread with the bruschetta was so over cooked it was like eating a crouton.The only good thing was the dragon boats. We sat down and waited a very long time for someone to come over. We had been sitting for 20 mins before we finally got water... and asked for our food order. The mini stuffed yorkie appetiziers were very tasty but unfortunately the Spicy chicken sandwichand the Original Burger were both served on buns that were SO stale and chewy, overall very unappealing to eat. We did notfinish the meal . We also did not have waters topped up the entire evening until we had to ask for it near the end of the meal .I have been to other Original Joes locations in Edmonton and Sherwood Park and have never experienced the poor taste , qualityand service that I experienced at this location tonight . September update: amazing staff, had a great date with hubby. Always a wonderful experience and such great staff. This is on... our go to place.... ps...the cheese cake is a family fave. Had the pacific rim bowl. It's better than the love pho bowl imo. Read more
From Ron not Sharon. Went for lunch Tuesday. My friend and I had Fish and Chips. Sure they were in deep fried for 20 min. Longer... than they should have.my fault should sent back they were crisp. No fish there ever again. Beyond crisp. Read more
Good service. The portions are quite large. The Cubano sandwich by itself was rather tasteless but the lime dipping sauce more... than made up for it. It made it something I look forward to eating again. Read more
We have been there 4 times now and last night was the last time . Service was amazing our waitress was spot on . But the food... was absolutely terrible ever time . Wings one time were pink inside and gross . Dry ribs were burnt greasy and disgusting and mychicken burger was atrocious. We said after last.time we went We wouldn't come back but the place was still fairly new so wefigured they were working out the bugs so we'd give it another shot because ojs in the city is one of our favorites places . Original Joe's is a great place for an enjoyable evening, appetizers and drinks are always good here! Upscale Pub-food. They... make a great old fashioned. We stopped in on our way through to Calgary and it was a great place for dinner. The staffapproached us as soon as we entered and we felt very safe with the Covid rules and regulations.
