We absolutely LOVE JWilson's! We always come here. It doesn't matter what you order you will never be dissapointed. The staff... here are friendly and will help you if you are unsure what to eat or drink. The bar staff is AMAZING! They make great cocktailshere whether you are in the mood for an old fashioned, bloody mary, a martini, or a beer flight! Great wine selection too. Welove coming here for thier specials too they have wing nights as of right now every 3rd Thursday of each month. I wouldpersonally check out thier Facebook page to stay in touch about the current specials. Last night we were there for thier hot dognight where they offer very filling hot dogs. This is a pretty good restaurant. The staff is definitely the best part of the experience. I had fried catfish with coleslaw... and black-eyed peas (loaded with greens). The fish was fried well but the seasoning was different than I'm used to having. Thetartar sauce also had a different bite to it that I can't pinpoint. By far one of the best restaurants I have been to in a while. The man candy was a major hit for us. As well as the sandwiches.... Even just the bread they served with the man candy was delicious! Read more
We were going to eat at a different restaurant, but they were closed. Perfect, I was so happy to eat here. The Chief has a way... to transport myself right back to my grandmother kitchen. All entrées were beyond what I expected. Try the fried pickles wereso crispy, thin, and the house ranch is to die for. This restaurant is amazing at blending southern spices and seasoningstogether. Delicious food & great atmosphere! The chicken in my pasta was tender & the sauce was delicious! We made reservations day of on... a Tuesday during thanksgiving & they were able to accommodate a party of 8 at a reasonable time. Our waiter was great & he wasso attentive! Can?t wait to go back.
