11/18/2022 Update: Manager called me within 20mins of us leaving and addressed situation. The problem in the back was found and... taken care of. She was very apologetic and encouraged us to come back to either Beaumont location and give them another chanceand they would take care of us. We attempted to eat here. Our mozzarella cheese stick appetizers came out and they were stillfrozen. The waitress was nice and apologized and brought us fresh ones out. Then while my husband was eating his main course,Shrimp Caprice, he chewed on something hard and had to spit it out. It was a metal wire inside his mozzarella cheese in hispasta dish. The waiter again came and apologized. We all instantly stopped eating. The manager never came to the table. I walkedup to the hostess and told her we would be leaving and why. She and the other workers around her just stared at us. She thensaid they think the metal came off a scrub brush in the kitchen. She said they would take his plate off the charge. I told herwe had barely touched our food and at this point did not feel safe eating it and had lost our appetite. I told her we would notbe paying for the food. If I could give 10 stars I would. I'm so impressed by the Calder location and the impeccable customer service, especially on... behalf of Stratton Davis, the general manager. I ordered a dish on Uber eats from the other location on Neches thatunfortunately was made incorrectly, the Uber driver advised I call the restaurant to sort it out, stating it was out of hishands. So not knowing that there was two locations, I called the Calder location by mistake. Not only did the general managershow sincere empathy but he offered to have his kitchen re-make my dish with the correct customizations and to sheer perfectionI might add. But that's not all, knowing I had ordered from Uber and had no way of picking it up, he went the extra mile to goout of his way and personally bring it to me. The fact that this wasn't even their mistake to fix in the first place and he wentabove and beyond to ensure I'm satisfied, says it all. Far exceeded all expectations I had. Read more
Called a day ahead with a party of twelve. Had some staffing problems and weren?t ready for us. Everyone there went above and... beyond to make our family dinner special. The pizzas and pastas were great, as was the staff. Thank you very much. Read more
Food was pretty good but service was pretty lackluster. Soda was bad and we told the waitress, she brought us water and still... charged us for the soda. (only took about 2 sips) Never brought us silverware or napkins, had to get our own, forgot ourappetizer and finally brought it out after we reminded her and our pizza was out. The waitress was awesome!! The service and food was great. We ordered a combination of pizza, pasta & steak. The steak was... cooked to perfection. The Tour of Italy was awesome and enough for 2 people!! The restaurant was nice & clean. I would giveit a 5, my husband doesn?t give anyone a 5. Dessert was even delicious!! Read more
Had a pepperoni n mushroom pizza. Quite underwhelming. The crust was undercooked. Sauce was bland. Cheese was decent. Pepperoni... was flavorful. Barely average for a new york pizza. Also had the tour of italy. The chicken Parmesan was very thin andaverage in taste. Then thin meat was disappointing. The fettuccine alfredo was flavorful and the noodles were perfectly Aldente. This was good stuff. The lasagna was also flavorful and good. So being 50/50 hit or miss. I cant justify more than 3stars. Read more
Absolutely wonderful! This may be a little long. I hadn't been in years and I've really been missing out on a great place to... eat. I completely forgot that they were the first place I had tried their spinach rolls, and man, they are still as good as thefirst one back then! While I was there I had the opportunity to try a slice of their 18" (yes 18") Supreme that they keep readyfor a quick appetite quencher. They made it ready for me and it was great! I had never noticed a thin flaky crust as good asthat was on any other pizzas. Really delicious! Their one slice of the Supreme is probably as much as a small pizza alone! Oh,and the bread that is served to you, when dining in, is something else you may love! What brought me back is a conversation onFacebook about their Keto pizza or "No Dough" pizza bowl. I learned that they've been doing this well before another new pizzaplace in town, that does it, ever showed up. Well, we've had three since that conversation and they all have been more thanexpected all at a great price from a locally owned business. Thanks, Wayne! Take out seems to be not nearly as good as dine in. Lunch dine in last week was fantastic, take out tonight, not nearly as good.... Smaller portion, higher price (lunch vs dinner take out). Tiny piece of chicken, if/when I go back, I'll be sure and dine in. Read more
