Fried egg burger was trash. Just a really weak, bland item. Wife had the patty melt and it was also weak. Low quality feel to... the preparation and ingredients. Can?t blame the ?supply chain? for that. Boudain balls were good so that?s why I gave 2 stars.When you pay as much as they want for their food, you would expect it to taste good. This is a nice casual (order at the counter, no waiters) restaurant. Food is tasty and portions are large. The main food they... offer is burgers, but they have a fine selection of other food to eat: their menu is worth checking out. Their baked potatoesare popular in my circles. They have a wonderful vegetarian burger (black bean) and offer great fries and onion rings. I havebeen eating here for years and years, and never once had an issue with the staff. The place was really clean! The portions were big! The staff was extremely friendly! The food was ok. I got the BBQ potato and... the bbq was just?.off! My husband got the shrimp spud and son the hamburger. They loved theirs! We got a huge basket of frieswhich we shared. I will give them another try but no more bbq spud. Tastes like fake meat. One of the best burgers in town. Onion rings are amazing. Could usually be cleaner and atmosphere is generic but we put up with... it for great food. Good for group lunches, where chaos is expected and you?re willing to wait a bit. Prices not too high. Sweettea self serve is good. Read more
Went here for first time because their baked potatoes were recommended as being huge and filling. WRONG!!! Purchased the shrimp... potato with about 5 shrimp. If that many. Potato was dry and limited by shrimp only. Waste of my money and time. For emphasis Iincluded another potato from another restaurant that looked TOTALLY different but was also a Shrimp potato. We had the original chicken tender meal, the buffalo chicken tender meal, the country fried steak sandwich and a basket of onion... rings. Everything was totally delicious. Great atmosphere. Read more
We went here yesterday and it was really good the food is kind of more old-fashioned tasting like a homemade kind of hamburger.... My husband got the bacon cheeseburger with peanut butter(scary right lol ?). I got a patty melt on rye bread and it was reallygood it might could have used a little bit more condiments like a little more mayonnaise but it was good and we all got Frenchfries. If you don't want just a ton of french fries you might want to get a single order and not a basket like we got but it wasa lot of fries I ended up eating half of my sandwich and bringing the rest with a ton of french fries home. I tasted my hubbyssandwich and it was crazy it was ok the peanut butter wasn't to sweet or to salty so it wasn't bad but it's not something Iwould order again but a fun experience!
