Ive never realized that nirvana could be experienced in a bar until now
Absolutely my worst experience at a Boston Pizza. I had ordered the 8 chicken wing appetizer, never got it as an appetizer but... rather got it with our main dishes. The waiter kept passing by and looking at us but never gave us an update about our food aswe had waited 35 minutes without any update or food. Never was offered any refills, had to ask other waitresses for refills.After we got the food the chicken wings we got one that was chopped, and only half was there, and for over $1.60 each wing thatwasn’t acceptable. We got 3 in lieu of the accident but the replacements were plain wings, not the same as what we originallyordered. The pasta was so dry I couldn’t swallow another bite. By far the worst take-out experience I have had in recent memory. The onion rings were hardly cooked. We received three of the... smallest chicken fingers I have ever seen. The sweet potato fries were a soggy blob of flavorless mush. They sent all of thewrong sauces that we did not order, so we were unable to enjoy our wings as we do not like hot sauce. The only item that wastolerable was the garlic fingers, other than that portion sizes were tiny and overpriced. Poorly cooked food, would notrecommend. The food was not ready when we went to pick it up, yet was already cool when we finally received it after waitinginside. No cuterly and napkins were provided and so we had no way to eat our salad at our hotel. A complete waste of money. Read more
Boston pizza is one of my favourite restaurants because of the variety and taste. This restaurants has 3 sections, the bar which... looked very nice and clean, outdoor section and indoor section with carpet for families (I guess?) . As soon as you enter thecarpet section there is an unpleasant smell which bothers me a lot. The pasta was very watered down and not salted enough. I feel like heavy cream is missing? Compared to Olive Garden in the US,... the pasta here is lacking flavour and the price was quite expensive! $20 with tax. The garlic bread was very tasty and soft. Read more
Went for my birthday to the 3485 Rue Clemenceau, Beauport, QC location. The hostess (Sabrina) clearly saw we were holding a cake... when entering. We were literally the only people eating in their dining room. The place was dead. Ordered our pizza. When thepizza arrived by that same hostess, (Sabrina) she informed us that we are not allowed to eat the cake we provided for ourself.She said it was against their policy. Why? Because you want us to choose a dessert off your menu!? She could have informed usbefore we sat down, but they obviously wanted our business. AND THEN they had the audacity to ask if we wanted to order dessert.Will not return and I URGE you to choose a different restaurant for YOUR birthday dinner. Read more
Overall, not terrible for a chain restaurant. Visited with a group of 18 on a thursday evening. The food acceptable and... relatively affordable. I was pleasantly surprised by the extent of vegan and vegetarian options. BP clearly goes out of theirway to cater to this crowd in addition to the pizza and wings crowd. Pizza is not great, crust and sauce is akin to supermarketfrozen pizza. The burgers were quite good. Good selection of wines and beers. Cocktails were a little off. Was seated at the baron a game night for the Habs so the atmosphere was pretty lively and strangely enough it had a neighborhood bar kind of feel.Service was a little slow but we were a large group so that's understandable.
