Went there with a party of four people on a Saturday afternoon. We called ahead in order to know if they still had tables... available; we were told that they were having a 80 people group coming later that day but we should be good to go in themeanwhile. Got at the restaurant and a very impolite waitress reluctantly took us to the worst table in the house (by thewashrooms) while the whole place was empty and all tables were available. Five minutes in, we are all looking at the menu, andthe cranky waitress comes back and ASKS US TO LEAVE because of the 80 people reservation that they had coming soon. Extremelyunprofessional behaviour from the staff and management that shows the lack of knowledge of theirs on operation andunpreparedness to deal with big crowds and a full house situation. The waitress was rude with us wouldn?t let us speak. She told us to wait because there will a spot for us but when we were there... she refused to sit us. We called a head of time to reserve a spot but on the phone she told us we couldn?t do that only to findout you actually can. Even when we said we can divide the group into smaller she didn?t want to know anything about it. Wewaited 20 mins watching people in smaller groups being sat down. Delicious food and great service! The brioche French toast I ordered was really good and not something I saw elsewhere. Our... server came quite often to check if we needed coffee and tea top ups and cracked a joke every now and then which made for a funtime. Very nice lunch. Broad menu with lots of choices. We did nachos, burgers and club sandwich and all we good. Friendly service... for english speaking patrons - they made us feel very comfortable and overall quality was very good. No local beer which was alittle disappointing - hopefully they can add some selections. Read more
