Two chili dogs. Large chili fry. Vanilla Milkshake. One of the larger Brighton Hot Dog Shops. Great atmosphere! All the local... high school seniors have banners on the walls. Loved the Hot Dog Shop all my life but, to be honest, the last several times there something has changed...its just not the... same. The buns are not soft like they used to be and they actually taste stale which ruins the whole thing. Hot dogs taste likea different brand as well and very skimpy on the chili. Today wasn't the day for the drive- thru. Asked for a bacon cheese burger with ketchup. Well it was close cheeseburger plain..... Asked for small fry .. it was almost cooked. This is not a fast drive thru I except to have to wait. I have no problem waitingjust hoped it would be cooked and right. Don't be afraid to have customer wait at the window to have food cooked andcorrect. Try again maybe in another month or so. Read more
The lunch menu doesn't offer much more than hot dogs and hamburgers; it never has and it doesn't need to. These guys know what... they're doing and they've stuck with what works. All of their food is delicious! The breakfast menu has a little more varietyand it's equally tasty, especially the omelettes. This is a great place to meet up for breakfast or lunch. The dining room isspacious and comfortable, as are the booths. If you've got a large party, they have big tables in the back for you. Read more
This was a tremendous drive in, old school, no frills, good people experience. This place has been around since missed wore... short pants and they have it down to a science. Got two chili dogs with cheese, chili cheese fries and ketchup/ vinegar friesand they couldn?t have been better and I got outta there for nothing. Dirt cheap prices and lots of food.
