This location was chosen for a small lunchtime reunion/gathering. We had a group of 7 people. All of the staff was very friendly... and accommodating. We didnt have to wait too long. Delicious and quaint. I ordered the Chicken Parmigiana and it was amazing but so much food. We tried the stuffed banana peppers... too were outstanding but the sausage a little spicy for me. The service was fun and kept up with our loud crazy crowd. Our groupcomes this time of year every year after our volleyball tournaments, it's so nice to be remembered and acquainted. Read more
We went here after a visit to Sahli's Nature Reserve, and it was at their busy time. But service, from being waited on to the... delivery of our meals, was reasonably prompt considering the crowd. And the food was excellent. Everyone in my group was veryhappy with their dinners. The portions were large too. I would recommend this restaurant. Read more
I have been a loyal guest for a few years. But July 24, 2022 was my last time visiting this place. My family & I came here to... eat for my moms birthday & while we were there, me & my sister decided to walk to the bar & grab a quick drink before our foodcame out. While we were there, we were questioned by a bartender named Lydia. Apparently we did not look of age, even though weboth showed our IDs to her as well as another bartender. When I asked for the manager due to the questioning of our age afterpresenting our IDs, a lady came out & demanded our IDs. She did not introduce herself at all or asked what the problem was likea professional manager would have. She asked us for a ?second form of identification.? She demanded me to pull out my debit &credit cards or she would not serve me, which I found very odd because that does not confirm my age at all. Another manager cameout to bring our food when we walked back to our table and asked me how old I was & also demanded my credit & debit cards. Hetoo, did not state his name. I pulled the race card during this situation because I was the only African-American at the bar.The other guests at the bar even thought it was very weird that she was giving me a hard time. She tried to kick us out aftersome words were exchanged. Again, I have been coming here for years & have never had this problem. Very unprofessional here &completely rude. Had an amazing first time at Sal?s! The food was amazing from the homemade dressings to each entree we tried! And PLENTY of... leftovers! Wife ordered Fettuccine Alfredo Okay so with these 3 Points allow me to EXPLAIN. 1. Very muchwell worth the portion and taste is exquisite and NOTHING fell short of spectacular 2. The Appetizer cheese sticks simpleenough Had a great great taste not overly seasoned. Bread was awesome with their own butter with a garlic taste. 3. Service verypolite quick always was helping or getting something BUT they were NOT in my face like many restaurants are. 4. Calzone may looksmallish BUT the more you put in it the bigger they are.
