A family favorite, we have eaten a good number of times. The food is always on point and the staff is courteous. The Jacked Up... burger is my husband's go-to, the sausage ciabatta is in my top three, and the mac & cheese is always on at least one plate.Large selection of drinks from the bar and nice happy hour specials. A group of us showed up without calling ahead and were seated almost immediately. The draft beer selection was really good and... the non-draft selection was really impressive. The service was out of this world! Our waitress was friendly, funny andknowledgeable in fine brews in addition to treating us like royalty (even nicknaming one of our group "her little snickerdoodle"which drove us all into tears with laughter)! This wonderful establishment quickly became our "Go To Place" to eat, drink, gather, laugh, and just get that drop your... shoulders and relax kinda Vibe. Nice job to Betty (oh my God! The best server!) and to the entire staff. Read more
The food was really good! It seems to have a nice atmosphere as well. I will say that the waitress we had was not the greatest,... I'm not docking my rating because it was our waitress' fault not the restaurant for the parts of our visit that were bad. Ittook her over half an hour to even come up to us after the host seated us, and that was after another waitress asked us if we'dseen our waitress yet and she went to get her. I got given the wrong drink. Twice. She took forever to come back to take ourorder and checked in 1 time after someone different brought our food. It wasn't even busy and we weren't on the patio. The last couple times we got take out, the food wasn?t very good at all. Actually the last time, we got someone else?s order... entirely. Maybe too busy being the Chippewa happy hour destination? Cause you can?t hardly get anyones attention behind the barbetween the hours of 4 and 6 unless you?re a drinkin? regular it seems like. If you asked me to review it when they firstopened, it would have been five stars and zero complaints. Read more
A great place to eat , got seated right away despite many people there, got the drink special even though we had just 2 minutes... before end of special. Our waitress was terrific, she was personable, engaging and attentive. Food and drinks were good. I woulddefinitely go back. Read more
Good food, good value. would visit here again. Jumbo cod was jumbo. Fries were crispy and hot. Wife?s vegetable salad was... good but not abundant. Table next to us got steak salads and they over flowed the dish. Happy hour was a nice change of pace. Bloody mary was seasoned perfectly. Good job Dugan. Read more
I am local and have been to zpub many times. Each time is a hit or absolute miss. The best meal I?ve had there is when the... waitress saw my food and took it back to the kitchen and asked them to make it her way - which was FAR superior to what I wasoriginally given. One or two times of the food not being good you think it?s an accident, but I?ve given this place too manychances at this point. The risk is not worth the reward at zpub. The wait staff is amazing, they are so kind and caring whenfood is not good. Ask the wait staff what?s the best thing to get - and don?t be afraid to let them know if something isn?tgood. I did do this the last time I was in, let the waitress know the food wasn?t good, they remade me some fries but therewasn?t much that could be done for my friends mediocre Mac and cheese.
