Food was good. Great choice of BBQ sauces. Great banana pudding! A chain restaurant with many teenagers working there. Got the... order wrong. When I retrieved the order and pointed it out to them, they just pointed out that they fulfilled the order asentered and did not offer to correct it. So, you may want to be sure that they repeat the order back to you when paying. Read more

There barbecue chicken breast is fantastic. The potato salad and baked beans are delicious too. The service was very good.

Best BBQ I have tasted and beats some in Texas for sure! The sweet smokey flavor of the lean pulled pork left a delightful... taste wanting more. The lean ultra trimmed brisket was so flavorful and tender without all the fat. The baked beans were likea dessert with a sweet molasses base. Collard greens are just tough to get right, but they did well with a hint of heat and anice taste that just says Hello BBQ. The cobbler is a nice fruity dish with cake on top! I really enjoyed the rusticexperience and flavorful dishes. The portions are 2x the size of any BBQ place I have gone to recently, so plan to take home orshare. Read more

This place did not disappoint. Very good barbecue sauces, delicious fall-off-the-bone meats, and (as others have posted) the... corn casserole is amazing! Just like grandma used to make. City Barbecue is what Ohioans consider good barbecue. Now, I have been to better places in other parts of the country, but City... Barbecue will work for being the local place for meats. Sandwiches and sides are good, although I've seen them slowly reducingthe size of their sides over the years. Brisket can be moist or dry, but is usually the latter. Place gets very crowded forlunch, and less so for dinner. Employees are friendly and helpful. Be sure to sign up for their rewards program, as it's one ofthe best around for a fast casual restaurant.
