This is my favorite El Toro to eat at. The service is always great and the food is even better. The staff is very friendly and... very attentive. Alex was my server the last time I came here and he was absolutely phenomenal. The manager (who happens to behis sister) is also very sweet. I highly recommend coming to this El Toro as opposed to the other one by Target on NorthFairfield. Read more
We were seated quickly. And the waiter came by and took our order. Didn't see him again till the bill came. Food came out... cold. Fajitas should be sizzling not lukewarm. They messed up the other order (either the waiter or the kitchen, I don't know),had to go up to the host stand to get help. That was where everyone was standing around talking. Not impressed. We were seated quickly and the service was great. I got the Taco Salad. It looked pretty but the bottom was soggy and then I... noticed that the liquid from the beef was almost covering the entire bottom of the dish... on the inside. It was pretty nastyand flavorless. I got sick the moment I got home, thru the night and next day. I will not be back...obviously. my friend got achicken enchilada and a Mango Margarita. She loved her entire meal. Read more

Being from the southwest, but living in the midwest, there aren't many good Mexican places that can satisfy that craving. But El... Toro definitely hits the spot. Favorite dish is the street tacos, and keep the chips and the spicy salsa coming. Greatmargaritas also! Definitely recommend! Read more
