What a great revamp of a city landmark. The BT has been around my entire life, serving up some of the best Mexican food around.... My family and I stopped in to grab a bite to eat. The atmosphere is wonderful, and the staff is very friendly. We got aspecialty BLT pizza and it was one of the best pizza's we have eaten in a long time. Their pizza crust is outstanding. Good bar stop for a drink. Would be a much friendlier look if they would replace the restaurant cold sterile institutional... looking white light bulbs with warmer bulbs like they have over the bar. This small change would make the entire place lookmore inviting. Read more
Had a party of 4/ 2 ordered mini burritos and other 2 ordered hamburger with fries. Took an hour and 15 minutes to get the... burritos and another 15 minutes later to get hamburgers. I realize it was busy and that is what waitress also told us. But wecame to eat together and that did not happen. First time visit and was quite disappointed that the food took that long to get. Always enjoy the Beaverton Tavern. Their menu was pretty small when they first re-opened after COVID and the re-model. But it's... larger now, and the food is as good as ever. It's a busy place though, so get there early! Read more
Great atmosphere, great new look, only downside was our waitress sadly. She was either under trained with hospitality, having a... very bad day, or just did not want to be there at all. But always end with a positive note. The food has always been good andafter the face-lift it seemed to only get better. Read more
Bland, under-spiced, over-priced. I don't feel there was anything remotely Mexican about the nachos or the "Mexican vegetable... soup". Mexican food is about the chili peppers and the onions, garlic, and tomatoes, most of which is what flavors their foods. I had hoped that, under new ownership, changes have been made for the better. Nope. I ordered a small size nachos. The salsawas like canned tomato sauce with a few little things added but it wasn't much more than lightly flavored, salty tomato sauce. And canned sliced black olives...? Very very bland. My husband had a burger which in itself didn't look too bad, but the onionrings were quite bland. Neither of us has any interest in returning. The server was quick and efficient, but $35 for two verybasic, bland meals, a coffee and a soda.... Read more
The burritos took forever. 5 tables came in after me and my sister. They were all served their food and checks before we even... got our food. 4/5; to a table. Nothing much on the menu to choose from . Burritos, nachos and hamburger, expensive too!!! Ifinally told them to put it in a to go box. We went home and had to warm it up. Didn't even taste good. The food was not good!Long wait for a table too. Never going back! Read more
We went here because we hadn't been in a long time, but we'll never go back again. I gave it a 3 star because what we spent here... we could have went to a steakhouse. The hamburger and the burritos tasted like deer meat. The service however was amazing. Read more
