Outstanding. I love how the beautiful plate of food had so many different flavors and spices in it, and how generous the... portions were. Family run business! Means a lot as our family runs a 30 year old local business. The owner came over andexplained the types of food and happily answered my questions. I’m hooked – – will be back again! Read more

It doesn't look like much from the outside, but the inside is well decorated. Reserved parking on the side. We all had the... Mofongo and enjoyed it very much. We will return. Read more

Went to lunch at this little nook. Being from Florida, I was overjoyed to find a Puerto Rican restaurant. Food was fresh, hot,... and service was fast. The corn fritters and fried plantains were great. The Cuban and skirt steak sandwiches were perfect. Beprepared to eat a good amount of food. Condiments were great (would love to see banana ketchup too!) Staff were friendly, business was clean, and even though it's location is a little hard to find (you can easily miss it off TV highway), this placemakes for a great little hideaway. You can enjoy the atmosphere and food due to their use of bamboo to shield the business andpatio from traffic. I would definitely recommend it to anyone who enjoys caribbean fare. Read more

Homey and warm atmosphere, and delicious food. Service was great - I came in a little under an hour before closing, and they... were still quite packed, but they tried their best to get us seated and served as fast as possible. The tostones were so goodwith a great crunch and amazing garlic sauce. Also ordered a mofongo, which made for a very comforting meal. I didn't know thisplace existed until I stumbled upon it randomly while looking for a place to eat late one night. Will surely be telling myfriends about it because I had a very enjoyable dining experience. Read more

What a wonderful meal! The Pina Coladas were perfect, the Maduros and Papas Rellenas were delicious, and the Churrasco was... fantastically tender with flavorful beans and yellow rice. The coconut pudding made the ideal cherry on top for our meal. Ouronly gripe is that my girlfriend's Pechuga Al Ajillo was pretty dry. We'll be back to try out everything we didn't on the firstgo! Uhhhh-mazing! Found this gem of a place and it was right across from my hotel. I don’t know if I never have had Puerto Rican... food, but I knew I had to try. It was all sorts of tasty! We made a reservation for 8pm but on a Tuesday, it wasn’t needed. Wewere greeted by the women owner and she had our table all set up. The interior is homey and tropical vibes. After having lookedat food pictures from Google I still had no idea what the order. She recommended a few dishes, which we chose, we got theHoliday Dish and the Stuffed Plantain with Roasted Pork. For appetizers we got 1 Banana and 1 Potato both stuffed with groundbeef. These were good, especially with the table sauces. The boyfriend also got an order of the Sweet Plantains. He’s from theCaribbean Islands so he’s a Plantain expert, he loved the Sweet Plantain, he said they reminded him of him. They were warm andcarmelized with good flavor. Our entrees were ginormous, so big that the boyfriend who usually finishes meals, had leftovers. Ireally enjoyed my meal, the sweetness of the plantain and the saltiness of the pork balanced it out, it was fresh and light. Theaddition of rice and beans made the meal whole and the salad gave it some but of healthy and don’t forget about the tablesauces. I had a few bites of the Holiday Dish, all of it was tasty, the Mac Salad was good. The tamal with plantain was equallyas good. I definitely would recommend this place, prices match the portions. A little bit of island life in Beaverton. Check itout! Read more

Authentic, and delicious. Did a fantastic job of accounting for my lactose intolerance. I had the trifoso with steak, which I... would 100% get again. I loved the sauce, the carbohydrate (which is a mash of yucca and plantains) and the big cup it was servedin. Read more

Very authentic and tasty! We especially love papas rellenas, which was the stuffed potato with ground beef. That was very good!... We also enjoyed our entree very much, which was Chuleta Kan Kan (Puerto Rico pork chop dish)! Crispy pork belly...tasty porkchop! That was so good! Our other appetizer was the Tostoned Rellenos (stuffed plantain fritters with shrimp). That wasn't sobad. The restaurant itself is very clean, cute little place, and excellent customer service!!
