Went on Sunday afternoon. I got a lamb gyro, a chicken gyro, and fries. I was worried about the cost, but the price hasn't... changed since I went there a year ago. So I thought the portions would be smaller as a result of inflation. To my pleasantsurprise, the serving sizes were just as I remembered and were still yummy. Service was fast too. A great place to eat and enjoywithout breaking your wallet. Read more

Very good lamb plate ????? ???? The lamb kebabs are tender and chewy, not on the juicy side but still good.

They're pretty good, I don't have a lot of experience with Mediterranean food but as far as I know it was great. Portions are... stupid large for the price and most of the staff is extremely friendly while some are just meh but not rude. I had a spicychicken gyro and the fried chicken and it was ridiculously large. Had to eat it down with a fork because I'm not a python andcan't unhinge my jaw. Would definitely return Read more

The homemade hummus, grilled lamb, and fresh bread is a game changer in the local food scene. Great atmosphere and great... energetic service. I?m still thinking about the hummus I had yesterday, because I cannot get enough. Read more

We enjoyed our lamb gyro and chicken shawarma at one of the two outside picnic benches. Absolutely amazing food, efficient and... very fast service. Employee was so kind to serve us our items, carrying them to the outdoor tables with a smile. Reasonablypriced, nice dessert options and the outside tables were much appreciated by our pooch! Save room (or take them home) for thedecadent Honey Balls! Read more

Gyro House has definitely gone up in quality overtime but it is still hit or miss. In the last year I have come here three... times. The first time we ordered pizza for takeout and it was very soggy in the 10 minutes it took to get home - pretty much uneatable. The second time I came I had a Lamb Gyro and it was a large portion size and solid with good taste. I was verysatisfied. Unfortunately today, I tried the lamb kebab Gyro and it is an utter disappointment for $13. It is standard for themto provide only five pieces or one skewer which unfortunately is very disappointing for a Gyro. After only a few bites you areleft with 75% of your pita gyro with 0 meat. One of my lamb pieces was also very difficult to chew and almost raw. Overall, Irecommend coming here only occasionally and to eat something before hand - just in case your food is not satisfying which is ahigh chance. The worst feeling is to go out for lunch hungry and come home unsatisfied. Read more

Amazing food and hospitality. I was referred to this place by my friend, Kevin K. So i went here with no expectations. We... ordered combo platter, fried chicken. I like them both and the chicken tastes so fresh and crispy. The meat on the platter isso amazing, hands down to lamb and chicken. Will for sure be back, in price point I thought its little over the price line. Oneshould try who comes to Portland. Read more

I decided to try something new and got the fried chicken. It is a four-piece combination of a breast, leg, thigh and wing. (This... photo only shows one piece because we had already eaten the first three-it was just so good.) The order took a long time tocook, but it is well worth the wait. This was the best fried chicken I have had from a restaurant. It was freshly made, wonderfully spiced, and not overly breaded. This order could easily be shared with two people. Read more
