This place has really good food. I've always received good service although I haven't gone when they are very busy. Margarita... options are good too, dinner plates have large portions and there are a lot of menu options. Lunch specials are usually markeddown a few dollars. Great place to eat. The wait staff are friendly and we have been here aeveral times. Fresh chips and salsa and great menu... options. The torillas are freshly made as well. I love carne asada, but the Saturday Steak and peppers is delicious, with riceand beans. We've also tried the Tijuana and the Fajita saladoh and the pollo asada de crema is yummy too, all good choices. Thewaiters check on you and make sure that you are taken care of. I sat in the bar area once and it was social and the guests andbartender were friendly . Definitely a place with big serving. You will feel full.or have to take it home. Read more
Terrible Service!!!! Bad, bad bad service by one employee. I think everyone knows who I?m talking about. We have been loyal... customers of this otherwise a great restaurant for about 10 years. BUT recently, most of the good servers have gone away andthere is now a very very bad server. He is a male who looks to be in his 30s. We noticed this terrible service the very firsttime that he waited on us. He would spend most of his time following around the young bus girl and trying to talk to her. Therehave been several times when we go in and there is nobody else in the restaurant and nobody in the bar and he is still nowhereto be found for up to 10 minutes. And then when he does get a couple more tables he is so disorganized, that he completelyforgets about his other tables. Just leaving them stranded. The guy is just not cut out for the job. We have been to therestaurant five or six times since then and the service with this guy is always the worst. So, we finally started giving him thetip that we felt he deserved. Which it was about 7%. And this is because he would just walk by our table time after time andnever even look at us. The restaurant was empty. He?s not a good server and I don?t know why he?s there. He does not have goodcustomer service qualities. Typically, when a customer leaves a tip reflective of the service that they received this is anopportunity for the server to perhaps reflect what kind of service that they delivered. Not him! Note this! Unfortunately thelast time we were there he actually followed me out to the parking lot when I was getting in my car and he crumpled up thecredit card slip and dropped it on the ground in front of me: so that I could see his disapproval. He then pretended like he wasgetting into the passenger side of his car. Juan Colorado is always one of my favorite places to go since moving here from out of state. My partner and I will make any... excuse just to come here, dine and drink. They always make the most delicious food, the most amazing margaritas, and theenvironment is so cozy! If I could go here every day I would. Read more
I have been coming to this place for over 6 years now. How ever today 5/21/22 I experienced the worst service ever from Mohamad.... Not only he was prejudice against my family and I, he also refused to serve us. Businesses get busy when they are not expectingit but they need to teach there employees that customers need to be respected. Read more
The food is tasty do not get me wrong, the problem is that it is like any other Mexican restaurant. The plates are huge and full... of rice and beans, I ordered a wet pastor burrito with green salsa on top, they give you chips and salsa. I also ordered a soda.The bill came to like $27. Again, the food doesn?t taste bad, but it is a bit expensive for a burrito that you can get anywhereelse for more than half the price. The guy I talked to was cool, we both Mexicanos. I have only had takeout so this about the food. Wow they are great! However I ordered the super nachos with shredded beef...... Really should be called party size or family size because they are enormous! But very tasty. They don't skimp on the meat! Largechunks of beef. Yum yum yum. Will order again but the small next time! ???? Can't wait to see how big that is. I order andchirro for my son. The food was delicious. The waitstaff and atmosphere were excellent. And I was so happy to find out that the refried beans were... made with vegetable oil or shortening instead of lard. And I really enjoyed my meal, and hope to go back again sometime soon. Read more
