It's nice to see the old vibrancy back, now that the vaccination certificates are no longer required. My husband and his friends... enjoyed salsiccia pizza, ravioli, pesce and wines. The lasagna only has a dinner menu, so next time I would like to havedinner here with my husband. Updated on October 29, 2012. Since it is usually difficult for me to enjoy eating out at night, Iwas happy to finally be able to enjoy lasagna, which I can only enjoy at night. It’s not often that I get to enjoy dinner ata restaurant. So we enjoyed gnocchi, lasagna and ravioli while enjoying wine, cocktails and whiskey. The lasagna was deliciousand the portions were much larger than I expected. It was more than I expected. And for dessert Gelato affogato and tiramisu, both went well with the coffee and made for a very enjoyable dinner. I would like to thank you all for your hospitality ????. Read more

We had appetizers and drinks, then got dessert to go. The calamari was the best either of us have had in the NW. Every other... place just doesn’t get it right. They got the perfect recipe for the batter, I swear. The gnocchi was incredible as well. Igot a non alcoholic drink that was absolutely fantastic. We haven’t touched our desserts yet (the olive oil cake and tiramisu)but I’ll be sure to update here when I do. Service was perfect. Things got busy, but our server checked in on us many times.Overall just a great experience. Can’t wait to come back! Read more

Service was great however the food was okay! Mingo salad is basically just leaves and isn’t even cut. Very limited vegetarian... options. Pasta was bland & brushcetta soggy, nothing great. Tiramisu was good however the prune dessert is not appetizing. Lotsof stomach issues the morning after. Read more

This, let me warn you, is an expensive and fancy restaurant. The food was megh, it needed salt especially for the price. The... experience was pretty good besides the false advertising of the cost. It was like 25-35 bucks each plate. Would not go again. Read more

I read the reviews and decided to try this place but it’s definitely very overrated and overpriced! I can’t believe I paid... $15 for a salad that the lettuce was not even chopped and was stale and almost slimy with literally 7 pieces of croutons!!!Pasta was ok but liked the pizza. Service was good however I will not go back. Read more

The outdoor seating here is amazing! It's very shaded and super comfortable! Food is phenomenal too. I especially enjoyed the... delicious focacia bread and the trio of fried polenta! They have an excellent selection of Italian wines to go with your meal aswell. We had a bit of a service issue or I would have have given them 5 stars but I know people in this industry are workinghard and I wouldn't hold it against them. We will definently be back! Read more

4 star service for sure! Very helpful! The menu is minimal which I would typically like, but if you don’t speak ????????... Italian food, or your palette isn’t sophisticated enough, then you’re going to have a hard time figuring out what to order.I certainly did and I guess I ordered the wrong thing. It was just okay…out of our 6 dishes, maybe half of us REALLY enjoyedour plates. But perhaps it’s because Italian is not in our dna. Don’t come here expecting Olive Garden. ???? enjoy Read more

My friends recently introduced me to Mingo West. It is their favorite Italian restaurant this side of town and one of the... coolest. I couldn't agree more. Mingo's has a hip and modern vibe to their Italian food. The restaurant is bright and airyunlike the traditional dark and somber traditional Italian places. Giant glass bay doors look out to the promenade letting inlots of natural light. During good weather those same doors lift open melding the outdoors with the indoor seating. They alsohad nicely spaced outdoor seating to enjoy the walkway. I thoroughly enjoyed their outdoor dining area. There's something abouthaving a delicious meal while enjoying the warmth of the sun and the cool summer breeze. Parking is super easy and something Iappreciate. The lot is right next to the promenade and is free. Look for the max station and you will find the lot. Just beaware, that the entrance to Mingos is on the promenade facing the max station and little park. If you go to the front of theestablishment you will need to walk around (I made that mistake). Also, starting in early September you will need to show ProofOf Vaccination if you want to Dine In. Masks, social distancing and Covid cleaning protocols is strictly followed here. If youdo want to Dine In I would recommend making reservations. The place was packed and walk ins would be darn near impossible.Fortunately I booked ahead of time for our group. Pro tip: use the OpenTable app to get 100 pts for dining here ????. Serviceat Mingo's is fantastic. Our server made sure our glasses were full at all times and our needs met. Like one of our groupcouldn't eat dairy and unfortunately the dish she ordered mistakenly had dairy. The server immediately fixed the issue, andreplaced the dish with a delicious non dairy pasta alternative. The portions were generous and filling. I ordered the specialpork lasagna and it was fantastic. I would definitely recommend the caprese Salad and any of the special Read more
