I have been using Fredricks for years. Last night we had my grandmothers 90th birthday party (huge milestone and pressure for... things to be perfect) and I asked Fredricks to do the cakes. All I can say is I was beyond blown away with how the 2 cakes cameout! They were a HUGE hit and yet again I was NOT let down! Thank You beyond words can express at how happy and impressed mygrandmother and her 100 guests were!! I will never get my cakes from anyone else and will always be a dedicated client!! Was craving cake and stopped by for a cupcake. Everytime I have visited I have been compelled by the cheesecake cupcakes... although I do not enjoy cheesecake. This time I stuck to my craving and got a regular cupcake?. The cake itself was very dry andcrumbly?. And the buttercream was hard and dry (but tastey!!). The overall texture reminded me of a not so fresh cupcake -however, this could be entirely due to the to the fact that the cupcakes are kept in a refrigerated display?. Which, in myexperience, often ruins the texture of baked good. Pretty disappointing. However? even though I am not a fan of cheesecake, Ican say that the cheesecake cupcakes have always been good (and cheesecake refrigerates WELL!!)! So if you want a cheesecakecupcake this is the place to go. But if you just want a nice, regular, buttercream topped cupcake?. There are better options intown. Read more
First time ordering from here and it will not be my last, the employees were amazing, I brought in a picture and they made it... really come to life, this cake was the hit of our party, not only does it look amazing but it tastes it as well! Extremely poor customer service. My cake topper was having some issues, they tried to charge me for a spoonful of extra frosting... for an emergency if the topper started to act up again after I already paid $70 for the cake. The topper looks awful in generalbecause it's a lot smaller than the size of the cake which I expressed concern about when I ordered it. I asked for rosettes butI was told no because they are too big. So now there is a ridiculous amount of empty space on the cake. It's incrediblydisappointing. They had no shame in dispensing mediocre product. I'm embarrassed to display the cake at my daughter's birthdaytomorrow.. if the topper even makes it through the night as it's already pulling away and ripping the top layer. Read more
Been shopping at Frederick?s for sometime. Definitely one of best cheesecakes I?ve ever eaten. Their combination cake-cheesecake... creations are to die for from chocolate lovers to Almond Joy all scrumptious. Joanne has waited on me a number of times and isamazing at customer service! If you get one of the other girls who are better at caking making then customer service, it?s allgood as the cheesecake makes it all better ha ha. Enjoy. Read more
So. Today is my 1 year anniversary and we had gotten our wedding cake from Frederick's. It has been in out freezer FOR A YEAR... AND I FORGOT TO WRAP IT PROPERLY. We just finished the traditional eating wedding cake on our 1 year AND THE CAKE STILL TASTESGREAT! Yes there was some inevitable freezer burn on parts that were exposed,BUT the inside of the cake was still fresh andtasted amazing. Ladies and gents, if you get married and need a cake that tastes amazing the day of your wedding, and A YEARLATER, I highly recommend their almond pound.
