We were there last weekend and our server was Amazing. She was very personable and funny. I think her name was spelled Cara. It... was our first time there and she made it memorable. Food was just NOT good Service was fine, but the value for the money was just Not there. Caesar chicken salad leaves you still... hungry as the chicken portion was tiny. Steak sandwich, could not cut through the bun, gravy was like sludge. Sorry, but forthe prices the meal was a big disappointment. Could Do slot better ???? Read more
Very disappointed. Have been coming here for several years. There were some glitches here and there reopening after Covid. We... were here few months ago and ordered calamari, haddock and shrimp tacos. Calamari was good and the haddock was two good sizepieces. We went again two and half weeks ago around 8.30 pm on a Saturday and the place wasn't busy at all. Servers werefriendly and attentive. We ordered calamari to share and haddock and fish cakes as main course. Calamari came totally overcookedand was dark brown color. Haddock arrived and was just one piece and the preparation was different from what we had here in thepast. My fish cakes were the most disappointing. They were the size of small risotto balls. Nothing like what one would expectfish cakes would be. We are not really into big portions but this was really surprising. And NO, I am not going to tell mydisappointments about the food to the server. I worked in the industry and I know how this would change the dynamic between theserver and the diner. Server is not responsible for the portion of the food being served and a cook knows if the calamari isover cooked and inedible before put it in the plate and send it to the dining room. I hate to write a bad review and I know theowner does not like anything less than 4 stars and will verbally attack you here below the review. One could see the pattern onthe reviews below. Great place, great food, and great service. The portions are generous. Just one thing, our French fries seemed as they were... fired and re-fried, I should have let the server know. Anyway, I really enjoyed the rest of the food. Read more
Ya know, the first time I was here, it was 11:30 am on a Sunday. We came here tonight for dinner and drinks. I was really... impressed with the bartender, he knew his stuff Also, the food. Been here quite a few times. The service is always good, I usually get the haddock which is one of my favorite spots to get it.... My 10-year-old son enjoys eating here as well ,last time we were there he got the seafood chowder which was really good and hadits own original twist on it more original than the basic seafood chatters you get that most places.he got the cup instead of abowl which was super huge ended up eating out of it twice and then I ended up eating some.
