Beautiful place to eat. I regret doing takeout. Inside is nice and clean and spacious. Outside is rustic and very impressive.... Great service. Pizza was excellent. Salad was on point. They need a bigger lot to park for busy days. Read more

During a Pennsylvania hiking trip, car ran out of gas so I had to exit the highway to find gas station. Since it was going to be... a long drive, found this rustic restaurant which was not your typical roadside fast food or chain eating establishments. Turnedout it was the one of the best pizzas we had. Farm to table really made a difference. The fresh ingredients really gave it somuch taste. I would go back even it means a detour. Read more

What a great experience! Our food was amazing and very well priced. The mushroom soup is the best that I have ever had.... Moreover, the BBQ had a very tender and smoky fire pit flavor. I also highly recommend the club sandwich. The atmosphere isfamily friendly and the restaurant is clean. We will return! Read more

First trip here and it was an experience for sure. Really interesting vibe...open fire style cooking and mix of rustic but new... kind of feel. Hard to explain, but something to give a try. Beverages are made there so don't expect the standard array ofcoke or Pepsi products but the sugar free cola was quite good. We ordered creamy mushroom soup, Buffalo chicken pizza and hotbuzz burger adding the cheese and bacon and potatos. No fries here but the fried potato add ons were good. Ketchup isdefinitely not heintz and I'm guessing is also made in house? Not sure but has a different flavor. Not bad...just not expected. All of the food was good in its own way. Nothing we ordered had any big punch of flavor but it was unique. Burger melted inyour mouth but special sauce didn't have much taste for me. Buffalo pizza wasn't too spicy but blue cheese taste was very good.I would like to try more items to see so ill be back. Inside was a bit smokey so you may smell like a campfire when you leave. The outside seating seemed cozy if the weather is right. So overall I was not super impressed with the taste of items I had butI feel they were good dishes and I'd like to try a few others. If you are in the mood to try something different give this ashot. It was fantastic! We visited on a chilly, rainy, raw day. It is situated away from the ?just off the turnpike? crowd and had a... wonderful country vibe. The ham and bean soup was piping hot and just like my grandma used to make. My husband throughly enjoyedhis pizza and I loved the pulled pork sandwich. We shared an apple cobbler which was made in-house and served with butter pecanice cream from a local dairy. Read more

Flavorful and interesting menu. My wife and I have gone back many times since our first visit and it just keeps getting better... and better. We've tried everything we can on the menu and we have never been disappointed! They really got it dialed in! Ourfavorites are the soup- any soup they have is deeply flavorful. The more rocking pork bowl that is aptly named, the steak istop, and so is the lamb! My wife enjoys their salads and homemade dressings, and we can't get enough of their sourdough! Thenacho mama's vegan cheese sauce is delicious on the seasoned potatoes and we love the juicy burgers and homemade buns- the beercheese burger, the chili cheese burger and the bean burger are our favorites. And the desserts!!!! these kind of desserts youdon't come across often.they are decadent without being overly sweet, I dig into the bread pudding or layer cakes and my wifereally enjoys the cheese cake, even though it happens to be gluten free.. And when we are in the mood for pizza this is our goto spot!!! We always plan our next trip on the way home from dining. This place is relaxed and friendly. The staff all get paida living wage- even the kitchen staff get tipped automatically through every sale, and we think this should be a practice inevery restaurant! The food is wholesome and flavorful and it is worth every cent! Read more

Great little farm to table spot! I wish I could have ordered off the breakfast menu but I did not see any items that were gluten... free. My roasted bacon chicken salad was very good. I also purchased vanilla bean syrup for home. Everyone was very pleased andsuper happy. Read more

This place is an excellent, out-of-the-way, COZY joint, built within a really neat, old stone building probably from the 1900s,... or even 1800s! One should eat here just to see the old fireplace in the side room...it looks like where Daniel Boone would stompin from the cold to get some communal stew! The food was truly excellent - small menu, but made from scratch, and very good.Decent portions, but no take home for me, so not huge. Price was steep for the area, but again, scratch made and very goodquality. The service was also excellent. Hope to be back! Read more
