Steak n Shake at this location is closed. It would be nice of them to post CLOSED signs out on the road so truckers don't waste... their valuable time getting off for something that's not open. Only posting was on the door as you walk into the building. Pizza sucks. Read more

A bit pricey. Cheese fries were underwhelming to say the least, as they were literally the same regular fries as otherwise, with... just a very small ketchup-sized tub of generic cheese to dump on them yourself (we're talking, ho-hum, 'concession stands at ahighschool sporting event' nacho cheese). The Prime Burger was a bit above average sized as compared to most fast food burgers,but didn't taste any different. Pretty good, but nothing to write home about. Food came at a slower-than-fast-food pace; aboutthe wait at a sit-down restaurant (which yeah, is normal for most steak and shakes, but I was hopeful for faster service, beingthat it's inside a rest stop on the highway...). The place was clean. Food was about average for fast food. A bit elevatedprices, due to it being at a highway rest stop. All things considered, I guess it's kinda what I expected. Read more

The line here was especially long and there didn't seem to be enough employees working the day I came through. A manager stopped... by to check in, but she never offered to help. My wife ordered the seasoned fries and paid for them, but when we were in the carwe realized they were just regular fries. Because this is on the Turnpike, we couldn't just go back to get the order corrected.I think in total we waited about 35 minutes from the moment we got in line until we received our final order. Quick service amazing milkshakes. But not a typical Steak and Shake. This is classified as a Express location. There forth it... does not offer a full menu and do to it being on a roll road the prices are a little higher. Don't go in looking for a $4 or $5meal deal. Also drinks are addition full price on top of the combo price as the combo price shown is the burger and fries only.But overall a great place. Read more

The food was amazing. I got the classic burger (forgetting exactly what it's called...) And it tasted amazing. However, it was... difficult to eat. They put too much on the burger and not enough burger on itself. Upon attempting to take a bite, everythingslid out onto it's wrapper. The staff was amazingly nice, however. They were happy and excited when I said they could keep thechange, which is a refreshing bit of happiness to come from in the Philadelphia airport of all places. The order took very longand I almost missed my boarding group. Just getting the burger took almost 20 minutes. Though this is the case, I woulddefinitely go again. Best food in the c gate. Read more

This is my second time there in a few months and so far so good. Had the burger and fries each time. The burger was awesome... fries were not bad at all will eat there again.
