Picked up take out from here b/c we had yet to pitch tents and get a fire going at Goodenow Forest Preserve. Kids were hungry... after a long drive, and I could feel a catastrophe potentially brewing. We called in an order, got multiple beef and chickendishes, and were all pleasantly surprised by the quality and taste (orange chicken, some other chicken with broccoli, andmongolian beef). The portion sizes and total price were shocking?absolutely huge* and a total steal compared to prices in thecity. This isn't going to win some James Beard awards nor is it better than your favorite place in China town, but for what itis (in the middle of nowhere, no less?sorry Beecher folk), it was fantastic. It's likely we'll go camping at Goodenow again, andwhen we do, picking up carry-out from here for the first night's dinner might just become a new silly tradition for us.*seriously, the 3 dishes weighed like 10+ lbs it was absolutely bananas.
