I CAN NOT express how FANTASTIC this place is. The food is always delicious. The lemonade is fresh and perfectly paired with pit... beef and a potato on a stick. Ps. Do yourself a favor and order a brownie. Life changing. Local favorite for our family. Read more

Update in response from store: i DID specify the sauce in the notes. ---- Don't order delivery from a service place from them.... This is one of those places that fails to put sauce into your order. Kinda ruins the taste. For the price charged, the employeesshould ensure that some type of sauce is in there. Otherwise, food amd french fries was good, but i hate dry bbq Read more

First time and last time trying this restaurant. I wanted to try something different. I ordered hot roast beef platter and Mac... and cheese. The beef was tough, gravy bland and the Mac and cheese. Yuck b Read more

Somewhat new to Harford County, and have been trying to find a pit beef place like the ones I grew up with. You know it's a true... Baltimore pit beef establishment when they ask you what temperature you'd like your beef. So glad we finally tried it, and we'llbe back. Read more

Loved hanging out at Alecraft next door, getting food delivered from Birds Nest! Between our table of 6 we got: ribs with the... gold & Ravyn sauce, hush puppies, fried green beans, burger sliders, someone else got huge amazing salad might've been thegrilled chicken. The Ravyn sauce had a mild to medium burn, the the gold sauce was an excellent Carolina mustard style sauce, the ribs were perfectly fall-off-the-bone done. Not everyone loves hush puppies, we do, these were on par. The slides wereperfect, they didn't skimp on the beef. And the fries beans - AMAZING. They didn't even need the dipping sauce. They were crispyoutside, & not at all mushy inside. One of our table said that was the most green beans he'd eaten since childhood. The servicewas fast too. Great collaboration between Alecraft & BirdsNest too. Holding off on 5 stars till we try more of the menu. Priceswere great too. Read more

I was surprised reading some other recent reviews that there were different types of sauces to choose from. What a pity that the... girl who served me didn't say a word about it even though I told her it was my first time eating at Bird's Nest. The sauce formy half-slab of ribs was rather flavorless, I would have much preferred something with some kick to it, or at least some zestfor goodness sake. Frankly, what I got tasted almost store-bought (quite comparable to Sweet Baby Ray's) and I expect more froma brick-and-mortar BBQ place. In fairness, the portion was generous and the meat was well-cooked, something that a lot of placesget wrong (I should not need a knife and fork to eat a slab of ribs). Finally, it rubbed me the wrong way that none of thetables outside were set up and there was apparently no dine-in option (I ended up awkwardly sitting on the end of a picnic tablehalf-covered with stacked up outdoor tables and chairs). For ribs, it just seems weird to me to get them all wrapped up insteadof on a plate. Honestly, I don't really get it, as even the most fastidious people I know declared the pandemic over at the endof March. Maybe I'll try again once I can actually eat my food outside without feeling weird about it. Read more
