We have lived in MD for over a year now and have struggled to find a place that has good American Chinese food. We finally... decided to give Lee's a shot because of how close by they are to our house and we were pleasantly surprised! The General Tso'schicken was definitely the best we have had so far and the Sesame chicken was also pretty good just a little on the tart side.Both had a great crispy texture and very large pieces of white meat chicken. The only thing that would make the experience 10/10would be changing the rice. The rice has the texture and flavor of instant rice and I definitely wish it was steam cookedjasmine rice instead. Easily without a doubt, the best asian food in the area. I have ordered from them several times over the last 3 years. The... only challenge with Lee's Asian Bistro is the amount of time it takes to get the food. Recently, I was quoted 30 minutes andarrived after 45 minutes only to wait another 45 minutes. I am willing to wait, but if you need 90 minutes, tell me 90 minutes. This exact quote time has happened every time I have ordered take out, which is why I started coming later than they say - theyhave yet to figure out the quantity of food they can put out in a specific time period. This hands down is the best American- Chinese food restaurant I've ever been to. They actually serve you: nice, big, juicy cuts... of meats in ALL of your orders. It's definitely not those sketchy, low quality cuts of meat you get at your typical take outplaces. I'd give this place 6 out of 5 stars, but they're always 10 or so minutes late on all orders. I'm not disappointed atthis because all the food is great and fresh, but they're time management is almost always off. So take your time picking upyour food. Read more
I always end up ordering their pad thai since it is always consistent in good flavor and Thai curry. But tonight I tried their... Cajun seafood combination and Thai chicken basil. And both was delicious! Only reason I give it 4 stars is due to when I alwaysask for it to be extra spicy it is just normal of spice level. Read more
I've given this place several chances throughout the three years I've lived near it. I don't know how all these people think... this food is so great. This is fried rice is so old and mushy. Every time I order from here I am impressed with the quality of the food, so far this is the only Chinese spot I know of that... consistently uses only good white breast meat for their chicken dishes such as General tsos or sesame chicken. Today my wife andI had ordered some food and it ended up getting delivered about an hour late but they made sure to well over compensate and gaveus far more extra food that we did not order! Great people. Great food Update 03/10/22 this Chinese spot is literally the BESTin harford county their food is so consistently fresh and this time around they gave us free FRESH homemade donuts!
