Great place to get seafood, make sure you call in for pick up, sometimes the wait can be long for food! But it's worth the wait... cause the food taste good, shrimp tastes great. Fresh haddock tasted amazing and fresh, haven't tried the rockfish yet. Read more
We recently purchased a bushel of crabs for an event and they were wonderful! Great quality, well seasoned, heavy, just perfect.... Everyone who asked where we got them replied "Oh good, I love Richard's." The produce was also fantastic, particularly the corn.We really appreciated the variety of size and price offerings, everyone we interacted with was incredibly helpful and friendly,and the new location is beautiful. I live in the area and I stop here often. We ordered extra large crabs a few weeks ago and they were monsters! They were very... heavy and well seasoned. Do yourself a favor, grab some shrimp salad and potato salad while you?re there. It?s the best I?vehad! Read more
Good fried oyster basket. A little heavy on the white pepper, if that's what I tasted. The oysters were fresh and plump and the... breading light... didn't need a "bite' to detract. I hadn't been there before so I didn't know it was carry out only. It was anice evening so I was able to eat at the picnic table outside. It would not have been a very good meal to bring back to my hotel15 minutes or so away. If you are in the area, I would recommend Richard's for lunch or probably for steamed crabs in season. Tried this shack for the 1st time. It is always slammed, so obviously a good sign. The family tried an assortment of food.... Probably the best shrimp and crab I've had in MD. Hush puppies and potatoe salad was great! Give them a go if you're in thearea. Read more
I don't give many places 5 stars, 'cause everyone can do better. They're a 4½!...They just recently moved to a new brick &... mortar location about ¼ mile north of their old place. Not from this area, my son like this place a lot. I'm getting morefamiliar with this store. They have just about any seafood you want. We got some oysters & mussels for dinner. Did the oystersraw & cooked the mussels in garlic, shallots & white wine and put it over angel hair pasta. All delicious! Read more
