A surprisingly wonderful meal! The atmosphere is great ... From a huge antler chandelier to ski chairlift seating, it was... delightful without being overdone. It didn't hurt that I was seated by the two blazing fireplaces! The service was terrific,and the food was really, really great! I had the bacon wrapped meatloaf with REAL mashed potatoes and delicious green beans. The shrimp salad sandwich looked wonderful, loaded with whole, medium sized shrimp. Great sweet tea served in individual littlepitchers. Nice specialty drink, beer and wine lists. We'll be back ... Soon! UPDATE: Back again! The ahi tuna app wasyummy! The food used to be amazing. Unfortunately it’s gone downhill over the last year. This used to be an exception but now You can... expect less than ideal bar food. This was $16 calamari, it was tough & overcooked and for $16 it wasn’t even enough to sharefor our table. I let it go until the burger and onion rings had little to no flavor. The food was delicious. Our waitress was attentive and pleasant. We love the outside seating. The drinks were even better!
I called to do a carry out order and they said they don’t do carry out between 5 and 8. So i went up to sit at the bar and... ordered a drink. I ask to order a carry out order and the were very nice at the bar at took my order while was having a drink.There was one couple at the bar and 3 table with 4 people at the restaurant. After a few minutes the bar tender said they couldnot do my carry out order which was 3 burgers. The order was canceled and i could reorder if i was eating there. I wish themanagement could tell me why I can order three sandwiches to eat there but not carry it out. Plus the place was empty inside.The bartender was very nice and took care of me unlike whichever employee in the back canceled out my order because it was acarry out order. This is not the first time it’s happened. This is a good way to drive away customers and it’s a good wayfor me to keep telling my friends not to come there anymore no wonder your business is probably dropping every time. I wouldlike to hear back from management on why they will not let you order carry out at the bar but you can order food and eat itthere when the place is empty. I would like a response thank you Since your reply says you were extremely busy then that meansone couple at the bar and four tables you’re extremely busy I don’t understand so instead of doing carry out i replaced myorder to eat at the bar . When they brought it out I asked for three boxes and then box it up and left what’s the difference. Read more
This place was recommended to me for their Rockfish Bites, so I figured I'd try it out when up that way. Since Rockfish Bites... aren't really my thing, I went for some wings & pickle chips. As seen by the photo, the wings were not the best, however thepickle chips were tasty. Service was fairly quick by the bartender at the time, that's about it. Read more
Hostess was a little snooty, but... Service was kind of slow. Waitress was attentive and friendly. Food was good but a bit on... the pricey side - $13 for mushroom swiss burger with fries. Nice drink selection. Read more
Enjoyed drinks after a staff event with a group of 9. The bar was crowded for the time. The decor was amazing, the restaurant... and restroom were clean. The bartender came over to us within 10 minutes took our order and had it out to us within another 10minutes. I would come back again. Read more
Conowingo crab dip… 10/10!!!!! Ahi Tuna 9.5/10, fried pickles 9/10… everything was awesome!! Would def come back
