The food was tasty once we received it, however the wait was at least 45 minutes from ordering to receiving. It appeared they... were understaffed. The floor under the line really needed sweeping. It's been years since we went to a Waffle House, and am notsure yet if we'll go back, especially with Crackel Barrell being an option. They always have fast service and a clean floor. Read more

First time at Waffle House food was good. Atmosphere was what was expected for a place open 24/7. Got there around 11:30am.... Service was fast. Read more

Dakota was a good waiter, even though he was new. Very friendly and attentive. The blond behind the counter and the cook, we?re... bantering very loud about personal issues that no paying customer gives a damn about. Arguing with the cook and generally beingunprofessional. We got there around 7 and would have appreciated a quiet breakfast, not be subject to all the drama. Read more

Everything was perfect. The waffles were absolutely amazing. The maple syrup couldn't have been better and the eggs were cooked... just the way I like them. The staff was friendly an the service was above and beyond. They could not have been nicer and Ireally did enjoy it. I highly recommend them Read more

Despite all its imperfections, Waffle House is a culinary destination everyone has to visit once in their life. It's not just a... restaurant, it's an experience. I would happily give it six stars if I could! The location on Conowingo Road epitomizes thistruth. I walked in today to find the usual cast of characters and the unmistakable cult of personality that rings true at everylocation: six or seven employees yelling at each other, a strange old man warning the service staff not to burn or butter hisbread, threatening to call the health department, and creating pet names for the staff like "picklehead," a line cook who wasfuriously complaining about a previous guest. It all felt so familiar - like home. There was a film of trash on the floorcomplete with forks, paper wrappers, dirt, and the dishwasher was broken so we were informed that we would be feasting on paperplates. The waitress sat me and told me she'd be back to take my order after a cigarette. So I patiently waited, listening tothe ruckus around me, fighting off a pair of flies that kept trying to land on my table. Another server came by and took mynapkin dispenser only to launch it back on my table ten minutes later as it nearly sent my drink toppling over. My food finallyarrived on a Styrofoam plate after a rather longer-than-usual wait. But the sloppy, greasy goodness did not disappoint! A refillon my soda came back without new ice, just the melted chunks from my last glass. I scarfed down the heart attack on the plate, and with a happy tummy, I paid my bill and was off into the cold mid-winter's day, dreaming of hashbrowns and melted Texaspatties. Read more
